End of November. Vietnam or Thailand, what to choose? Pros and cons.
Good day. Maybe among the tourists who vacationed in Terrakotta Resort there are those who vacationed in Thailand? I wanted to know your impressions, compare holidays in Thailand and Vietnam (nature, service, etc.). What is the difference? Pros-cons. Prices for tours, local prices. Meals-breakfasts or all inclusive, what to choose (according to Vietnam). Your impressions.
Sincerely, Victor.

Hello Victor! I will go to Thailand for the third time, and I think not the last. Hotels in Vietnam are more expensive, food prices in cafes are a little cheaper, so in both cases you need to take only breakfast. Try to organize a trip yourself - it will cost much less It is difficult to compete with taysim massage, but in B - it is also presented with dignity. The Terracotta Hotel is located in the center of the village - nice, however, the rooms are small and in the main building without balconies. The sea is clear, unlike Pattaya, but in October there were terrible jellyfish near the coast. Nature and fruits are magnificent everywhere. It is interesting that Pitahaya (dragon's heart ), tastier in B, and some other fruits - in T. I think that you need to visit both countries and make your own impression. In B, you need to drive from north to south - it will be great!

Hello Victor! It’s hard for me to judge, because I haven’t been to Thailand yet, but I highly recommend visiting Vietnam. Very interesting country, culture, nature. As was correctly noted by Platoshechk, hotels in Vietnam are quite expensive, in Thailand (according to friends) - cheaper. We took only breakfasts, the rest of the time we ate in local cafes: the cuisine is both local and Russian. The food is tasty and cheaper than eating in hotels. We lived in Terracotta in a bungalow - a delightful place! Beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable - I want to go back there. I wrote a review about the hotel, read it, it is described in more detail. The service staff at B is very polite, smiling and helpful. There are strong waves in the sea (we were in February). Excursions, I think, both in B and in T are very interesting. But when my husband and I were faced with the choice of B or T - we chose B - and did not regret it! Have a nice holiday.

I have been to Thailand three times and Vieta twice. I travel on my own, so I can compare budget hotels in these countries. Thai is certainly more comfortable, there is more comfort, better English and more Russian speakers. In Viet, the hotels are simpler, English is worse, but the locals have a greater desire to communicate. Although "package" hotels, in my opinion, are better in Vietnam in terms of price-quality ratio. For my taste, food in Vietnam is much cheaper and tastier, and fruits are tastier in Tai. In Thailand there is an opportunity to buy cheap summer rags, in Vietnam - fabrics. In Viet, any land transport is cheaper, in Thailand, air. It's so hard to compare completely different countries! And giving advice is a thankless task. I like both countries and I will return there more than once. I also recommend Cambodia. Mmm, how beautiful it is in Angkor!
