Can perfume be carried in hand luggage?
UAE
I plan to buy a couple of bottles of Arabic oil perfumes or a spray in Dubai (in the city, not in Duty-free - everything is clear with him). Can I carry them in hand luggage, I'm afraid to take them in luggage - they will break, leak, etc.? Share your experience, how did you transport, how did you pack, were there any problems with this?

Better in luggage.
In general, up to 100 ml volume is allowed to be carried in hand luggage.

Bottles up to 100 ml, packed in a transparent plastic bag with a "lock" with a total volume of not more than 1 liter, can be carried in hand luggage.

spichak, what did the baggage not please? :)
If there is a need to carry something fragile: alcohol, perfume, ... I always carry it in my luggage (I pack it in cellophane just in case). You lay things well and there are no problems, unless of course the bottle is larger than a suitcase. :)

Thanks everyone for the replies :)
nesnew, luggage pleased everyone, only there are attars in oil with a poorly ground lid, it is better for them to stand upright, otherwise they will leak. And bags from luggage are thrown from the heart ...

spichak, "And luggage bags are thrown from the heart ...
"That's for sure, I've seen it myself more than once :)))
I certainly wrote about standard vials.

I always use a plastic basket brought from Thailand (fruits were transported this way). It is small, made of plastic, frame, quite strong. I put everything that is beating and that can choke (and this is always more than you expect) into it, put it in a suitcase and everything always comes out perfectly, nothing even chokes. Perfume, the lids of which do not fit snugly (as in this case), of course, it is desirable to seal it with adhesive tape. And the sv will arrive in excellent condition.

By the way, these baskets are sold everywhere ...

Thank you for the container idea, Angelika55 !!!
I myself looked at a sturdy shoe box, I think a plastic container will do if I can’t find a basket.
Thanks again to everyone who replied :)

When I left Dubai, I had 0.5 liters of water started in my bag, and 75 ml of perfume in a box. Nobody said anything, they missed it.

vitka274, a matter of chance.
For example, a Turkish airport:
- 2011, in hand luggage 3 waters of 0.5 liters each. and 5 pcs. juice 0.25 l. (closed) were successfully selected by customs officers - with difficulty they begged one water to leave 2 small children (more than an hour after that they sat in the sump);
- 2012, place too. 3 waters of 0.5 l. did not arouse any interest in the customs service. :))
So, once in a while, you don't have to.

They also let us in for two 2 liters of juice and two bottles of perfume. But this is rather an exception, just lucky because no one has canceled the rules. Yes, and you will worry less. And you need to buy perfumes in the UAE.
