Exactly the opposite. And not only at the airports of Israel, but in general on their airlines Farther...
From Greece we plan to bring all sorts of food "souvenirs" such as oil, wine, olives, feta, etc. As a rule, such products are sold (and better preserved) in glass jars and bottles or in tin containers (jars and containers). How can you carry all this on an airplane? Will they make you throw glass containers out of your hand luggage? And won't they throw it all away at the baggage screening? It is the subtleties of the "aircraft" baggage rules that are of interest, and not the customs ones (everything seems to be clear with them :)). We fly non-stop, on a regular flight, UIA, Kyiv-Athens-Kyiv. Thank you in advance!!!

In hand luggage it is possible only from duty free, because. you have already passed all the customs officers. And so they will force you to either leave it or pack it in your luggage. this is clear. They even take the mineral water out of hand. But in duty everything is very expensive. So buy at home an oilcloth for packing (such a pimply one) and immediately pack it into your suitcases. As for children's food and liquids, if children are flying with you, then, as already mentioned above, you can safely carry everything you need with you for the duration of the flight. The children were given water to try, in order to make sure that it was water. But the rest is better to pack in a suitcase. The youngest has been flying with us since 2.5 months (now she is already 4.3 years old) and for her they often took full board - they packed jars in a suitcase and never worried about wheth ... I plan to buy a couple of bottles of Arabic oil perfumes or a spray in Dubai (in the city, not in Duty-free - everything is clear with him). Can I carry them in hand luggage, I'm afraid to take them in luggage - they will break, leak, etc.? Share your experience, how did you transport, how did you pack, were there any problems with this?

spichak, what did the baggage not please? :) If there is a need to carry something fragile: alcohol, perfume, ... I always carry it in my luggage (I pack it in cellophane just in case). You lay things well and there are no problems, unless of course the bottle is larger than a suitcase. :) Farther...

Returned from Israel. As it turned out, in Israel there are no restrictions on the transport of liquids in hand luggage. You can take water, olive oil, creams and whatever else in hand luggage from Israel. There is no 100 ml limit. We actually carried 2 bottles of water of 1.5 liters. This rule works. Of course, if you have a transplant, the rules of that country will apply in the country of the transplant. If it's a direct flight, no problem. I also wrote down useful information on border cross ... Farther...
