Is it possible to decently relax with a child in a three-star hotel in Cyprus?
And in general, how is the rest compared to, for example, Turkey. Is it worth going? What hotels and region do you recommend?

After a holiday in Cyprus, I no longer want to go to Turkey. Holidays in Cyprus are several orders of magnitude higher (in Turkey they rested only in 5 *). We rested in Protaras, we really liked it, but our hotel is unlikely to suit you, because. the child will be bored, there is nothing for masks. Check hotels in Limassol, in the center of Protaras, Larnaca. In the cities I have listed, it is better to take flights to Larnaca. It is better to go in September, because. July-August are very hot months in Cyprus.

Of course, the quality of holidays in Cyprus is much better than in Turkey. Cyprus is more beautiful, more beautiful, there is a European spirit (in the Greek part of the island). I vacationed in Ayia Napa, it’s very cool there, but for a vacation with a child it’s better to go to Protaras or Limassol (I don’t know the hotels there, I can’t tell you). Families with children often rest in these towns, it is quiet, calm and beautiful around. Do not even worry and feel free to go with your child to Cyprus. And there are very decent threes there (some are even higher level than some fours). I advise you to go to booking.com and just look at the choice of hotels there (they always write useful reviews), a lot of photos and descriptions.

Mary-V, I don't agree with you about the beauties of Cyprus. The vegetation is poor, we rested at the end of May, and so the first thing that caught my eye was scorched grass. Turkish Kemer, Fethiye, Oludeniz are much more beautiful and greener than the Cypriot landscapes (we drove almost the entire Greek territory from Paphos to Protaras) But I really liked the sea very, very much. The water is azure in color, completely without turbidity despite the sandy entrance to the sea. Yes, the European spirit is tangible, the service staff treats guests without familiarity, the service is higher level, the products are of better quality. I highly recommend Cyprus.

Sent2008, the vegetation in Cyprus may be poor, but I meant that Cyprus itself is more beautiful - it's the sea, and the service, and a pleasant good-natured atmosphere, and everything :) I also traveled the whole island (in August), when all the plants bloomed and there were beautiful pink flowers on the trees, flower beds, palm trees ... blue sea ... sand ...)) In my opinion, the same Kemer with its stones is resting.

No need to quarrel. someone likes something more, but the countries are not small and therefore there are many different places.
It would be better if the Author wrote that in her understanding *decently*? What do you expect from your vacation?

I join the opinions of fans of holidays in Cyprus. It's great there. There is nothing more to say.

Thanks to all who answered! All information is very useful, because. in Orenburg, people are just "discovering" this country for themselves. All that I have heard so far is the same Turkey, but much more expensive. And from the rest we are waiting for high-quality food (a child is 3 years old), a beach without sharp stones, children. entertainment, maybe shopping for me). Hope it's all there. I'm asking about the 3-ke, because. I heard that there food is not all inclusive, how will it be with a child. A 4-ka seems och. expensive,

The food there is different and alls and breakfasts only and everything you want, you can find. I wrote in private.

Three rubles in Cyprus is quite enough. It is not at all necessary to take All, eating is not a problem even with a child, all cafes have high chairs and they will pick up food. Have a nice rest!

krapi1, Cyprus has a fundamentally different concept of recreation than in Turkey. Here, all life is outside the hotel, hotels do not have huge territories (with rare exceptions), no one will entertain you in the hotel from morning to evening, in 3 * this is music in the evenings, maybe there will be a playground.
Choose your hotel and beach carefully, so that there is civilization nearby, there are no problems with food. Take a car, drive around the island, you will definitely like it!
PS. Personally, I also think that three-ruble note is enough, food is different. ALL is a link to the hotel, and there are so many delicious things around! Although with a baby it might make sense.

And I would say - look at the child. After all, there are children in whom you can’t shove anything but french fries. We traveled with two children, took an all, however, in 4k. As for me, it’s still more convenient - all children have a need to constantly throw something into themselves: either water-cola, or ice cream cookies. We had all this all day long. Check out Anastasia Beach 4*, Protaras

Last year we rested at The Royal Apollonia 5 * in Limassol. Excellent hotel for families. For children there is a special area, a mini club, a small playground, a swimming pool, and much more. Babysitters and animators speak excellent Russian, the kids will not get bored. The hotel is the first line, with a good sandy beach and a convenient entry into the sea (also a sandy bottom).

If anyone is going to Cyprus with children, I recommend the Louis Phaethon Beach 4 * hotel in Paphos. This is the perfect solution for a family holiday. As in the case of Turkey, the hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis, a good sandy beach. Lots of entertainment for children, water slides, swimming pools, playgrounds. Very tasty and varied cuisine.
