By and large, it’s already good to go somewhere with our unstable ruble/euro exchange rate. Of course, children need the sea, but a couple of years ago they themselves had a financial "swing". We went to Belarus and had a great rest. Farther...

At airports, the exchange rate is traditionally worse than outside it. It is better to change a small amount at the airport so that there is enough for a taxi, and then go to the bank or exchanger into the city. I have not seen dollars accepted anywhere. Farther...
And in general, how is the rest compared to, for example, Turkey. Is it worth going? What hotels and region do you recommend?

Of course, the quality of holidays in Cyprus is much better than in Turkey. Cyprus is more beautiful, more beautiful, there is a European spirit (in the Greek part of the island). I vacationed in Ayia Napa, it’s very cool there, but for a vacation with a child it’s better to go to Protaras or Limassol (I don’t know the hotels there, I can’t tell you). Families with children often rest in these towns, it is quiet, calm and beautiful around. Do not even worry and feel free to go with your child to ... Farther...
We are going on vacation in May-early June. We have not been to that side, so it is very difficult to decide. Tell me, pliz, where the nature is better and more beautiful in Cyprus (where exactly) or in Crete (which resort in which part of it) or elsewhere in Greece. I would like a beautiful sea, clean air, mountains and the opportunity to walk somewhere along the embankment in the evening, for example. sitting in a hotel around the clock annoying :) And of course I want advice on the hotel. Thanks to everyone who responds so much!!!!! :) And yes, we will fly from Kyiv.

Cyprus and Crete are islands. Culture, cuisine, local customs are absolutely identical, Greek with a Turkish touch. There is something to see in Cyprus, apparently, YaroslavaS went somewhere in the wrong place. Cyprus has beautiful ancient monasteries, wonderful Troodos mountains with wonderful healing air. Larnaca is really a small old town, but Limassol is a more developed resort, Paphos is a respectable and prim city with a measured life and a large number of elderly Englishmen, Ayia Napa is ... I'm going to rest in Cyprus for the first time in July-August, but I'm not familiar with half-board meals in practice, I always took all-inclusive. In the descriptions of hotels, mostly "half board".

If without small children (you never know when and what it wants to eat, so it’s somehow calmer on the all-inclusive), then you can safely take it. And to dine in local restaurants is a pleasure, and the prices are quite reasonable. Farther...

Guys, tell me, pliz, in which hotel in Cyprus is it better to relax with a 1 year old baby? To quality varied food "all" and its clean beautiful beach. And not for crazy money, of course)))

All in Cyprus is still expensive and does not make any sense. Because, as usual, hotels have breakfasts and dinners, which can be safely changed for lunches, etc. And around there is always where to eat inexpensively and it will be national food. First, you decide which region you need. Ayia Napa, Protaras, maybe Larnaca are good for kids. Sand. The warmest fabulous sea, good beaches and bays. I would recommend Protaras and Ayia Napa. True, Protaras is remote from the center of the island, but i ... Farther...
