This is how you wish, how you endure the heat, etc. Hotels in Egypt are never empty, including in July.

You can go, but it's too warm there at this time of the year.
For me, ideally May, end of September-beginning of November.

You can, we went in mid-August. Of course it’s hot, especially during the day it’s 40 degrees, but in the morning and in the evening it’s normal, especially at sea, plus the breeze blows. (In Turkey, for example, in August at a temperature of 30-35 it’s worse, because humidity). True, we did not dare to go on an excursion to Luxor at that time, the temperature there is even higher.

We rested in September. We decided at 15-00 to leave the Charm Network hotel for the Old Town. We crossed the road and returned because of the incredible heat.

The question is actually one of the most frequently asked. Egypt is Africa, of course, but northern. Secondly, there is a dry climate and therefore the heat is easier to bear. I already wrote, but I will repeat it again. In 2008, I was in Hurghada in July with my daughter and mother (my mother is 58 years old), they endured it well, and even went to Cairo. We were in Turkey once in August - much worse. The feeling that you are in a wet steam room, even at night. Although if you are afraid, do not take risks and choose another time of the year for a trip to Egypt. The last time we were there was in February, you know too well, and we swam and sunbathed. Have a good rest.

From black humor. it is better to relax on the northern coast of the Black Sea than on the southern coast of the Barents Sea. North Africa is cool, well, it’s not so northern in the first place, it’s not Alexandria, and secondly, the tropics, as they say in Africa, the tropics. The heat is transferred there and it’s really easy, but the thing is that you are going to the sea. This is very dangerous for white-skinned Slavs, melanoma is a serious matter, sunscreen does not help a hundred, and even when you are in water, drops form lenses on the body, a T-shirt is not a panacea, you need to wear a wetsuit. True, you can not pay attention to this, our people are advanced, and everything is on the drum for them. but bitter statistics say terrible things, the number of melanoma cases has increased tenfold in recent years, and moreover, these are far from poor people. so it's up to you.

in Egypt, the heat is quite easy to bear, because the climate is dry, unlike Turkey, where there is very high humidity.
air temperature in July 30-33 (in the shade)

yes Africa, yes heat, sooo hot
BUT due to the dry climate, the heat in Egypt
it is much easier to carry than in the same Turkey or Crimea

We were in Egypt once from mid-November to December 1st. I confess that I am not happy. During the day you can swim and sunbathe, but as soon as about 17h. The sun is setting and it's getting colder every minute. At the evening show, the children wore hats and jackets, and the adults were freezing.
The second time we went to Egypt from June 10 for 2 weeks. We collected warm clothes for evening walks, but it turned out that in summer everything is completely different. In the middle of the night you go out onto the balcony - it's warm! You can do it completely without clothes (the body does not feel either cold or heat). It's not stuffy, but just comfortable. But during the day we sweated a little :) +33 was stable (and +26 at night).
Now let's go in mid-July! And we will definitely not take warm clothes!
A small note: Sharm is 2-4 degrees hotter than Hurghada. For July, these 2-4 degrees may seem like a significant difference. So, in the hot months, Hurghada is better, and in the cool months, Sharm.
Have a nice holiday!

We go to Egypt ONLY in the summer. We traveled in June, July, August and September-October.
Hot, but very easy to carry. I can't stand the heat very well, and for the first time I went to Egypt for the sake of the children, they really wanted to visit the pyramids (August). Was pleasantly surprised. Transfers great. The wind blows constantly. Were even in Luxor, nothing was baked. But in the fall, I would say even cool. The sea gets colder, and a strong enough wind begins to blow, which cools the lagoons even more.
We constantly go to Hurghada, I don’t know about other resort areas.
By the way, in August, the cheapest tours.
By the way, for example, in childhood, my parents took me to my grandmother in the village of Ruzhino, aka Lesozavodsk, aka Shmakovka resort (who knows, this is in the Primorsky Territory in the Far East). So, Egypt, even in its hottest season, is nothing compared to Ruzhino and Shmakovka. The heat, not a hint of a breeze, in the shade is stable 37 degrees. There is no sea. The river is far away.
Therefore, Egypt and only he!

We went in mid-July for a week-on the contrary awesome!!! not what everyone writes and how the tour operator warned us, supposedly we will die from the heat there (((- nothing like that, in my opinion it is much easier to bear than in Russia in constant humidity, where it is hard to breathe
