How to get to Naama Bay, the old town and about the nearest shop
Hello.
Soon I’m going to the neighboring hotel Tiran, but there are not enough reviews on it, maybe someone here will tell you:
1) Do minibuses go to Naama Bay or can you only get there by taxi?
2) How much does a taxi ride to naam and the old city cost and how much does it cost by minibus?
3) Is there a shopping center or at least a shop outside the hotel? what about nearby? And then we go with HB food and there is no desire to overpay for water at the hotel ... Yes, and hunting to taste local fruits at a price cheaper than at home ...

1. routes go from the hotel for 1-2 c.u. they go in the morning, return in the evening, but you yourself know how to be tied to a certain time: (...
2. We took a taxi from the shopping center of the old city to Melia for 13 USD. (although they promised to deliver for 10!!!)
3. There are NO shops nearby!!! and in the hotel you can not buy fruit :(

One minibus - in the morning (there), and one in the evening - back?! Horror!

not a minibus!!! bus from the hotel!!! I have never even heard of minibuses!

Hmmm.. Strange. But after all, hotel employees somehow have to travel, builders from neighboring unfinished hotels also somehow ride ...

Yes, when we were previously in Egypt: Hurghada, Sharm, I remember exactly that we went by minibuses and there were a lot of them. Is Tiran really in such a wilderness that minibuses do not go ..:(

I was in Melia in May 2007, so they got to the old city and Naama on passing minibuses (they asked for 10 pounds, sort of), I don’t remember waiting longer than 10 minutes. Maybe, of course, something has changed since then, but we didn’t have a question in the morning or evening at all! And indeed, local hotel workers drove them, and tourists .. And we bought water (until we reached the market) in one of the neighboring hotels, we walked along the beach for about 15 minutes (it seems to the left, if you stand facing the sea) - guide advised. There were also shops with tourists. goods and souvenirs, I don’t remember fruits, but the water there was 100% cheaper than in the hotel (it seems that 6 pounds of a 1.5-liter bottle - it was also important for us, because they took HB)

I went to this hotel from the Savita hotel in order to inspect it. If the animator hadn’t brought me on his motorcycle, we would have had to walk, and there are quite a few, although the hotels are nearby on the map (such a Sharma building). When he dropped me off at the turn to Melia, I still walked about a kilometer to the entrance to the hotel. I did not see any transport at the turn, not before it, not after it. True, it was June, maybe this is the season. I didn't see any shops either. I also took a taxi from Savita for $15. in town. There were simply no options. But I liked the hotel itself, only there is no beach at low tide. But the reef is great.

On the next branch, they suggested that there are a number of shops, shops, etc. near the Baron's hotel.

They also suggested that you can go along the embankment of the Baron Hotel to these shops:
