We rested in this hotel in early October. There were 10 days. The first four days the wind was very strong, there was a red flag on the pier (the ban on swimming in the sea) Then the wind gradually subsided, but there was no complete calm, several times the pier anyway, they closed until lunch, and after that the wind subsided, it was possible to swim. The locals said that a strong wind rarely happens there, we just got there. There is a reef there along the entire coast (there is no entry into the sea from the beach - stones), but near the coast you can get wet up to the waist, it’s good for the kids. The reef itself (as for me) is a bit poor. In principle, a lot of fish are suitable and quite different, but there are VERY few living corals themselves. We have been to Taba, and so there the reef is small, but there is something to see, and flocks of "needle fish", and lionfish, and moray eels, small stingrays, a lot of live corals. I didn't meet them in Sunrise.

And I really liked the hotel itself, big, beautiful, the reception itself is worth something, there are swimming pools at each level, the animation is not intrusive, the kitchen is acceptable, the waiters are great.
