hatinka, why are you so angry at the Poles? I just opened a visa in 2008. From financial security there was only a certificate from work. There was only a passport with a Turkish visa. They opened it without problems (I submitted documents through an agency, and not personally). In Poland they were passing through (without an overnight stay), then the Czech Republic 4 nights, and Germany 2 nights. HERE IS THE COUNTRY OF THE FIRST ENTRY! Based on what you wrote earlier, they should have opened a visa for me at the Czech consulate, but they opened it in POLISH. You can go to any consulate or Visa Application Center, having collected a full set of documents for this (read the originals of the norms that are needed to obtain a visa) and no more, as written by travelsita. If there is no requirement to submit docks for apartments, cars, work for a certain time etc. additional requirements, they are not needed. And they are not required at the consulates, in vain I drove all this for the first time. As a rule, these are TA requirements, easier - reinsurance.
