If you still go to Rimini, then both San Marino and Venice can be reached by bus: it takes about an hour to go to San Marino, it costs 8 euros round trip, to Venice it takes 3-4 hours for 36 euros round trip (True prices this summer). I agree in Venice, you need to stay for 2-3 days, otherwise there will simply not be enough time to get into all the museums-bell towers (I think a week will not be enough for Rome), BUT a full day will be enough to form your opinion and general impression of the city (even of Rome), after examining the most important, and decide for yourself to return to a specific city in order to study it in detail, slowly. IMHO, it's better than not seeing anything at all, having "visited" Italy.

You can get to Venice not only by bus, but also by train with a change, you have to get up at 6 in the morning, but Venice is worth it. In San Marino by bus, in a day you can climb everything up and down. You can also go from Rimini to Bologna. Florence is also within reach. Florence is an open-air museum city, I am still in awe of this city. You can go to Rome, but a long journey and a round trip will not work, you need to stay in Rome. They took a car (which is a thousand times more interesting if you are interested in feeling the flavor) spent 1 day in Venice (2-3 hours by car on the expressway), left at 6 in the morning, at 9 we were already in Venice. At 17-18 we went back. For Venice, 1 day is enough, if you do not get carried away with every painting in the museum. With the onset of darkness, the city dies out. We spent 1 day in Florence (also 3 hours by car), left early in the morning, returned in the evening. 1 day in San Marino, from the sights only the castle, it is quite possible to see the whole thing in a day. San Marino is best left for the penultimate day. Pleasure from the views from above, peace is what you need after a busy trip. On NG they also already bought a tour on December 29 for 7 nights Moscow-Rimini-Moscow. We will spend NG in Rome.
