What can you say about a beach and sightseeing holiday in the Venice area
Hello!
At the end of August, or rather even the beginning of September, there is a desire to fly with Visa to Venice.
We are going to Italy for the May holidays, we will go through Bologna and Verona, bypassing Venice and Padua.
We will be without a car.
Questions:
1. What would you advise to see, except for Venice, in its environs. Preferably with a simple access by public transport.
2. What can you say about a beach holiday in the Venice area? I understand that the Ligurian coast is better, but if it’s the Adriatic, then where from Venice you can easily get to see something else along the way. I don’t like big cities, it’s better to have a village well located both by the sea and by transport)
3. Interested in a "foray" to Slovenia. What can you see there from the available public transport?
4. For everything about everything, no more than 10 days. Or rather, even 6-7.
Thanks!!!

I just read it myself and don't understand.
I mean that in May we will look at Bologna and Verona, so when we go to Venice, where we will be without a car, we will no longer look at them.

Nice seaside holiday in the Rimini area. There is also a very beautiful park-museum "Italy in miniature" in this resort. I liked it even more than the Madurodam park in The Hague. We were there as part of a bus tour of Italy. We spent the night in the village of Riccione at the Tiffani's 4 * hotel. Very good hotel right on the first line by the sea. The breakfasts are luxurious, we could not even believe that we were in Italy. From here you can go on an excursion to San Marino. There are also excellent views of the surroundings from the height of the observation decks and good shopping. We brought excellent Italian drinks from there at a price cheaper than in Italy. I wrote about this trip in my reviews and posted photo albums on my blog. The last time I also wrote a report about Venice was in November 2011 with a photo album. Look through the reports on my blog, maybe you will find useful things in them.

Read the rest in the direction of the province of Friuli (if you want to look into Slovenia as well). This is Trieste (About 100 km from Venice), Lignano (Lignano)
The main resort of Friuli - Lignano lies on a small peninsula, between the wide delta of the Tagliamento River (Tagliamento), the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea and the picturesque lagoon of Marano. Almost all 8 km of the coast - a single sandy beach, surrounded by a dense array of pine forests, provides guests with everything necessary for a good rest, combined with untouched nature, Bibione is a small island connected to the mainland. A very rapidly developing resort now. Caorle - 9 km of sandy beach with lagoons, Lido di Jesolo. And near Koper-Slovenia, there is also where to relax. Excellent bus connection with Venice. I originally planned to go there last summer, I even prepared information, but the cruise carried me away and I canceled the trip.

It is better to go in September, because. August is a massive holiday season for Italians, and in September it’s already cold for them, but it’s just right for us. I’ll throw off what I find along the Slovenian coast, we were in Koper, it’s almost like northern Italy, but the Slavs.

If you just sunbathe and swim not far from Venice, float on the Lido on vaporetto number 1, there is a public beach very large and not crowded.
