Shopping. Tell me, is there any outlet in the vicinity of Venice by any chance?
Good afternoon! You need an outlet or some inexpensive shops / shopping centers to buy Italian gizmos - shoes, bags, business clothes. I must say right away, Gucci, Kleins are not very interested, more interesting are +/- mass brands, but made in Italy (leather).
Advise whether to go to Milan?
I'm not very good at shopping, but my husband wants to go shopping and so does my girlfriend.
Thanks

Huge shopping center "Panorama" in Mestre. There is a bus from Piazzalo Roma. I don't remember the number, there is a sign "Panorama" on the windshield. A large complex, everything is sold from cars to products. Vaporetto passes are good.

Khatinka is a bit off topic, but given your interest in the land, pay attention to buying seeds in Italy (you can buy tomatoes that can be dried), seasonings, herbs, bulbs, etc.

Thank you very much, we will allocate a day for shopping!
And about the seeds, so I decided to only plant the zoned ones - all these southern plants do not have time to ripen normally in our latitudes ...
But I will probably buy it. As soon as I see that it’s pretty, I’m rowing ... Can you advise something more specific on plants? These tomatoes for drying are what? I dried our usual ones, is that something? And where to get these seeds in Venice? I’m just from Italy, I was in the very south, in Bari I didn’t see seeds anywhere ... Only dried dahlia roots (!) In supermarkets. Do you have any addresses, passwords, appearances? Thank you!

In Italy, I did buy tomato seeds for drying. Small shops.
I try to buy something unusual everywhere, something grows, something does not.
Everything grows from Germany!

But where to use dried dahlia roots?
аватар hatinka
dried roots, I mean, dahlias are sold in the spring for planting in the ground. but not sold dahlias hung with them all summer and withered, but they are still being sold)))

yeah, well, we have the same story - you could find dried lilies, dahlias, bergenia, peonies in Epic and New Line. Now, when the onion was brought in, it is possible that the junk was taken away. But I saw how they tried to buy this dead garbage in Epik, I had to dissuade ...
So how did your tomatoes grow, those for drying? How can they be distinguished from ordinary ones - I would buy

Tomatoes should be firm, not juicy.
To be honest, they were not tasty when raw. But I didn’t succeed in drying them. Not because they weren’t dried, they just didn’t reach my hands.
But in the shop they understood perfectly what I needed.

They grew up and ripened, it’s already good))) I’ll try to buy. I dried the usual ones, but drained the juice. We ate right away, it was delicious. And then they poured herbs in oil and for some reason didn’t eat it, now it’s decoration)))

Tomatoes are something amazing. They are perennial. Naturally, they do not survive with us.
I plant "Balcony Miracle" or indoor pots and they grow all winter and bear fruit, and smell like tomatoes in the middle of winter.

I have ripe "washcloths".
Zucchini "Luffa". If you shoot within twelve days from the day it blooms, then the zucchini is on your table in cooked form.
If you let it ripen, then you remove the peel, and inside there is a washcloth !!! You pour boiling water over it, sew on a loop - that's it, you can wash!
Cool!!
