Vacation in September
Good day! Question to experienced tourists: what is the weather like in September in Phuket? We are going on vacation with the family on September 1 (Kata beach), we are very worried about the weather. I studied the meteorological reports, but I want to hear "verified by personal experience." On the Internet: it rains all day long, you can’t swim in the sea - it’s stormy, you’ll sit in the hotel all the time ...

everything will be ok in Pattaya, but I rarely visit Phuket, so I won’t say.

A friend was in August, they flew home on August 26, just the day before their departure, the rainy season (round-the-clock showers) began. How long it lasted, though, I don't know.

From the whole question + - KATA. Otherwise, you risk. My girlfriend was in October, she was very disappointed, it was constantly raining. The season in Phuket starts in November and it’s not a fact that the rains will end.

The best holiday season in Phuket is from late October to April.

But I think it's better to go there in November

Good day! September is really not the most wonderful month for a holiday. Business is worth - there are no tourists. Change the time better - my advice to you. Or go to Koh Samui

Thanks for answers! Now all in thought...

We rested in November, it rained every day, in the late afternoon, but they were short-lived and did not overshadow the rest at all. But the heat was easier to bear.

It really rains and storms in Phuket, there is an open sea. If you want to go to the islands, then in September it is very good on Koh Samui, we rested with friends last year from September 10th to 20th. The weather was great, it was sunny all the time, it rained a couple of times at night. The sea is very clean, there were no storms, on some beaches there are low tides, high tides.

We would also like to go to Koh Samui, but the price tag in September bites a little :( We decided to go to Turkey ... Thank you all for your answers !!!

Don't you want to go to Pattaya? The weather is wonderful: +28-30 air and water.

We don’t want to go to Pattaya, because we are going to the SEA! I agree that in Turkey it is also not very clean, but certainly cleaner than in Pattaya :( And I don’t argue that there is nothing to see, but we are going with a baby (1.7 years old), so it won’t be especially up to it. Maybe next year it will be possible to fly to Koh Samui, I would very much like to...

I didn't like Samui. If you go to the SEA, then definitely not to Koh Samui. The water is almost the same as in Pattaya. Phuket - I agree. And that's not everywhere. You can also consider Chang. So far I liked it the most. Only we can't stand it for more than 3 days. Very boring. Yes, and in Phuket for 4 days we got tired. It does not bother only in Pattaya, but the sea is dirty here. You need to go to the island in 30 minutes by boat from Pattaya or to distant islands. But if I were you, I would come to Pattaya, look at something, then go to Samet for a few days, then to Chang for a few days, and then Ko Kood is not far away and back to Pattaya and home. That would be great!!! And the child too. After all, I would have seen animals in Khao Kheo near Pattaya and bought in the clean sea on the islands. But, of course, it's up to you to decide.

Thanks for the advice) they also wanted to go to Chang, but, as I understand it, it is in the same climate zone as Phuket. As for entertainment, this time we don’t need them for sure) I want a lazy rest in a beautiful place)))

We took a chance, we still fly to rest in Phuket! ;) I hope we are lucky with the weather))) Dear tourists, please tell me how much the tour from Phuket to about. Samet, oh Phi Phi? And can you get to the islands on your own? stay there for a couple of days and back...
