Were in Thailand 2 times and both in the so-called "off season". The first time on Koh Samui in September 2011, in 15 days there was one little rain, a couple of times it rained at night and once it rained harder during the day, which lasted about 15 minutes. The second time in April 2012 in Phuket, in 12 days it rained 2 times during the day short and once long 2 hours, but no downpour. Friends went during the season, in January, and the weather was not very lucky. Tropics ....)) Now we are going to Koh Samui again in November, because we liked it there more.

In general, the holiday was a success. I liked Phuket very much (maybe because it was the first time in Thailand ....) We were on Katya. If there are no children, you can go closer to Patong, because. there is nothing to do on Katya after 11, I had to go to Patong by tuk-tuk (400 bt. one way). Well, this is my personal opinion (*I wanted more fun). Well, if in general: swim, sunbathe, go on excursions (just don’t take a dive on underwater scooters - I didn’t like the feeling, it’s better with scuba diving), get acquainted with culture, nature.
