Anette is right - if you are in Moscow - go to the Thai embassy and fly without a headache for up to a month (this is the minimum). At the consulate in Kyiv, a visa costs 40 dollars (on arrival 30) and there is such a phrase "a certificate from work is required (if available)" - I didn’t quite understand this "if available" :)) - there is no certificate, well, no need ? :)) So going to the embassy is the best option.
