I liked the hotel Nton. Not in the city center though. But quite in half an hour (or less you reach the center).
You can drive through the castles of Lviv region. Decent and interesting. Well, spend the day on Lviv itself with its architecture and cafes. :)

From Lvov you can still go to Kamenetz-Podolsky, Khotyn, Bakota, Krivche. Places are rich in historical sites (fortresses, castles, churches, monasteries, caves).
