When they handed over passports and money for visas, they did not want to give us receipts that the documents and the Nth amount of money had passed into their hands. When asked when it would be possible to pick up our passports with a visa, the answer was given that 5 days before departure they would call me back and I would be able to pick up all the documents from their office.

It turned out that the passports could not be given to us, because. according to their rules, they are issued to the group leader at the starting point of the tour, i.e. in Lviv!!! So I was initially told the opposite - visas will be issued to us in our hands !!! Why lie???
The practice of obtaining passports directly from the leader of the group is familiar to me, but why not mention this right away ???
It turned out that we had nothing to come to the office for: we will receive visas on the day of the tour, the information sheet will be sent to the post office and EVERYTHING.
