The places themselves are very beautiful, around the mountains. But you need to go by car, since Shayan is on the edge of geography and getting there by public transport, and even with small children, is not at all comfortable. There are also very good worthy sanatoriums, I liked Visak, or you can rent a house to cook for yourself. But civilization is really far away. If closer, then in with. There is still a lake there, but not for swimming, but to sit with a fishing rod at most (I don’t guarantee a catch) or ride old catamarans. But for swimming there in the resort "Sunny Transcarpathia" (Upper Polyana) there is an outdoor heated pool "Polyansky fonts" (last year it was 5 euros / day / person, there are sunbeds, showers, changing rooms). There are plenty of accommodation facilities - from boarding houses with treatment and mini-hotels, to apartments in a new building with a kitchen, or a house on the outskirts of the village. There is a small pond (more for fishing), I don’t remember hotels with a pool. But for trips by car to the sights of the south. Lviv region is the best place (next to Medenichy is the Limpopo Zoo, in Bubnyshche Dovbush Rocks, near Skole the Kamenka waterfall, in Truskavets the Dolphinarium, the UNESCO Temple of St. , a large lake in Dolgoluk b / o"Shepilska ", etc.).

Secondly, there is boring mortal and no infrastructure, and young people will be very bored there, and the children will have nothing to do, and the forest for a 4-year-old child is for one day. So Morshyn, I think, is more suitable for the rest of pensioners, and for those who need Morshyn water. For me, Polyana is still the best option. I have traveled all over the Carpathians, and Transcarpathia, and Prykarpattya far and wide and more than once, so I give advice from my own experience.

Bukovel - I agree, there are entertainment there. But Shatsky lakes - no-no!!! I don’t advise it at all, it sucks completely, there is no beach, dirt is everywhere, the infrastructure is terrible, etc. There is nowhere to eat, everywhere there are terrible dirty eateries only, it’s not clear to the people of the crowd why. I've been there once and never again and I won't recommend it to anyone!

I also remembered - the resort complex "Voevodino" in the village of Turya-Apiary (30 km from Polyana towards Perechyn). This is really in the middle of the forest, a closed area, there is a children's club and entertainment, an equestrian club, vats-baths-spas, a landscape park with a pond (a pond for beauty), restaurants on the territory, accommodation both in the building and in cottages (private sector nearby). If you spend all the time on the territory, then it is a good option, since the road there is a little dead and every day it will be inconvenient to go on excursions. Yes, and you can only get there by your own car (or order a transfer from them).

You won’t be able to swim, all mountain rivers and lakes are cold, but you can walk, through the forest, into the mountains (even people of advanced age can do it). There are many boarding houses, however, you need to order in advance, about the same people rest there, order everything in advance. There is simply accommodation (you cook in the kitchen yourself), there is a full board, delicious dietary cuisine.

There you can also not leave the territory for 3-4 days, a lot of entertainment, a summer pool, a lake for fishing and boating, next to the Zakhar Berkut cable car. The road to Slavske has already been made, in Volosyanka itself it is a little worse. It is quiet in Slavske, without animation, but there are trout farms, a pottery workshop ("4-seasons"), etc. can be found.

There is no animation in Vezha Vedmezha. The children's room is poorly equipped and is located in the basement. But there is really enough natural beauty there. You swim in the pool, and around the mountains. The lift to Zakhar Berkut is a stone's throw away, and there is space and breathtaking views. The hotel itself is very good! I have not seen better in Ukraine.
Reikartz Karpaty - the price is lower and meals are included in the room rate. But in comparison with Vezha it does not go to any. Vezha is a work of art and a high level of service, and Reikartz Karpaty is just a good chain hotel. There is children's animation, two children's rooms, one of them has a huge climbing frame. There is a salt water pool. But with beauties there is easier. There is no climb to the mountains nearby, you need to go to Volovets or Pylypets.
