Why not use booking.com? It's much easier, and then if there are problems upon arrival (which happens), then you can complain about the hotel in booking and they will suffocate the hotel and then they will blow off the dust from you :)

Remont-Bulgaria is not always better / there prices and conditions are also higher than directly.
If after the fact / that is: payment later, at the hotel, then it’s better. /
Regarding payment directly - what could be the problems that I encountered:
1) The hotel did not receive $ 10 - it was a bank commission.
2) there are hotels where taxes are not indicated in the price. They must be paid on the spot.
3) Through booking.com - the hotel failed to write off the amount claimed - I had to contact the hotel directly.
4) Also - do not forget to remove the limit before paying.

helena_fortuna, thanks for the detailed answer. But I have already applied to the travel agency. because we have solid troubles in Belarus. Expensive. than from the site for two about 100 euros.
