I carefully studied this hotel for the future, as a budget one. What is the service in an inexpensive hotel? Corresponds to its price. There is air conditioning, swimming pool. Some SPA procedures for an additional fee. It is far from the sea, 500 meters. You have to buy subscriptions to the Botanical Garden in order to walk through it. I can see from the photo that you have children. I do not recommend Balchik at all. There are practically no beaches. Mountain resort, difficult to walk, food at an average price. There is not much to do there. If you want a cheap hotel, then I would take Chaika in St. Constantine, Lora in Albena, Breza in Sunny Beach, Kranevo Niko. Might as well come up with something more expensive. Everything depends on the budget. If you have any questions - write.

Not according to the Balchik resort with Poola there is a beach there, very nice. I advise the hotel Victoria or Jupiter, there is a swimming pool, and next to the beach - just go across the road. You can also consider the Oasis and Helios hotels as an option - they are right on the beach and there is very good service. But they are not cheap.

about the relief of the resort - I usually advise it to those who love the Crimea - it is very picturesque here. It’s still far from the beauties of the Crimea, but the food service is better than the Crimean one

Natassha, and about Elit, specifically. I understand that you need to walk to the Botanical Garden, 30 meters, and then through it and go to the beach (I don’t know what it’s called). About nearby hotels understandable. Last year we traveled from Albena to visit friends in Balchik. Hotel Regina Maria 4 *, on the beach. He was very suitable for them, they do not sunbathe at all. From the hotel down the ladder directly into the sea. On the shore on concrete slabs about 10 deck chairs, free of charge. Children, respectively, no, peace and quiet. But for an amateur. Inside is a very nice hotel. I saw a beach near the Dutch village (Helios, Oasis). But these hotels, although not cheap, are scolded by tourists. I read a lot of reviews, I kept thinking about taking a week in Balchik, and then changed my mind. It is better to take a walk just to go, which we do every year. But, to choose, of course tourists. The main thing is to know the information so that later you don’t scold the whole of Bulgaria, as was the case in the last review about Naslada in Balchik. What do you know about Victoria and Jupiter? Are they praised? This summer we will be at St. Constantine for a week, a trip to Balchik is a must. I would look at them.

Thank you all very much for your help. As far as I understand, there are no special problems with the hotel. But the beach raises many questions. I heard that there is a Central beach in the city. Is there such a beach and how far is it?

I honestly don't know which one is Central. I assume that near the Botanical Garden. There, in general, the beaches are very narrow (I know two with sand) and immediately a mountain. Very crowded in season because of this. The rest are concrete slabs. In Elite, you have to go uphill. Not close, 500 meters. For some it's normal, but for some it's hard. In general, for an amateur. I'd rather go to Kranevo, there is inexpensive food, and the beaches are wide. And in Balchik I would go for a walk in the Botanical Garden or on a tour of Balchik-Cape Kaliakra.

Alas, I already ordered Balchik. So I'm looking for a way out of this situation. The hotel seems to provide transfers to Varna and Burgas. So advice is welcome :)

You need to buy a subscription to walk through the Botanical Garden. Last year there were such subscriptions, otherwise it will be very far away. Just walk around the Botanical Garden every day, it's very nice. There is also a tasting (free) of exclusive wines. The wines themselves are not cheap, but very tasty. Last year we took "Regina", it is without additives, honey grapes. Liked it very much. It's upstairs. And downstairs is another shop with a tasting, it's cheaper there. Some wines with additives, and without additives - "Snow". There is probably a transfer, but for the money I think. Go to Dobrich, it's not far. We buy men's clothes there in the Mall: jeans, T-shirts. If you are interested, write in a personal, I will tell you in detail.
