The most convenient and comfortable air, and the most economical - by bus or train. Both resorts are good in their own way. Bansko is still a city with history, with architectural monuments, with a population. Borovets resort, I think, is the best ski resort. I would advise flying to Sofia by charter and staying in Samokov. Yes, yes, in Samokov! This is a small town 12 km from Borovets - the prices are very reasonable, and for food, and for accommodation, and for a sauna, and for wine. Plus, it's a city, and Borovets is a resort. Therefore, in Samokov - there is a market, and shops, and little churches - that unique flavor! Many foreigners come here. You can go skiing to Borovets and Malyovitsa (the most beautiful peak!). I strongly advise you to go to the Rila Monastery - just an unearthly place, very beautiful.

on the way to the Rila Monastery there is a tavern "Mountain kat", they serve excellent freshly caught trout. Everything is very tasty, real Bulgarian food. And in Bansko, be sure to visit the Molyarite tavern, everyone knows it there. This is the real Bulgaria!

Great town Bansko! Recommend ! Snow is added to the slopes every morning, I recommend the Beaujour hotel, very pleasant, free swimming pool, saunas, gym, affordable prices and delicious cuisine, free shuttle to the ski lift every morning and back in the afternoon! I recommend ski passes for half a day, cheaper and less tired. Renting skis and equipment in February is generally a penny, an instructor was hired for children, it turned out to be almost 2.5 times cheaper than during the New Year holidays of 13 .....
