I want to go to Bansko in early March for a week. I ask for advice in choosing a hotel from connoisseurs of this resort.

2. Availability of a good swimming pool and SPA center in the hotel.

I will say this: in the center of Bansko - in the town itself - hotels are mini-hotels, private houses-kashchi, they are on several floors, with 5-15 rooms, each room has everything. But SPA centers and swimming pools are in large hotels of new construction. They are mostly either at the ski lift, or 10 km from Bansko (Katarino SPA and others). Well, except that the hotel Bulgaria 4 * - however, we are not talking about the SPA, only the pool and fitness.

Thank you! I realized. 10 km is, of course, a bit much for hiking. My TA recommended two hotels to me: St. George Ski & Spa and St. Ivan Rilski. According to the reviews, I like the second one more, but according to the map, the place is quite secluded, just to the center "in the dark" it seems to go, although not far. What can you say?

Hello. I was in Bansko on a promotional tour, can you tell me a C or C? Aparthotel Bozhurland look - tourists have already been sent there, they were very pleased, Astera is wonderful, Lyon is a solid 4k, St. Rylsky is a worthy option. If you are a SPA lover, then near Bansko in Razlog (6km to Bansko) there is a Pirin Golf complex - there is the largest SPA center on the Balkan Peninsula. And by the way, the prices are very good (they do a free transfer in Bansko).

In an average Bansko 3-4* hotel there will be only a swimming pool (usually small), a bathhouse, a sauna, massage (for an additional fee) and a solarium (for an additional fee).

olga17477, St. George's are far away ... Look at Lucky Bansko, Pirin (there is no SPA center), but it is in the center, even Gardenia 4 * is not bad and in the center
