I went 2 times to Bulgaria by bus from Kyiv. Each time a different route. The first time through Romania, and the second time through Romania and Moldova. The second time was terrible! We mostly crossed the border at night. There is little to enjoy in this! Passports were taken from everyone's hands, and then at least an hour later they were given to the driver.
