When I was little, I never went to a children's camp. Every summer I was sent to my grandmother. Therefore, my ideas about “camp life” are very vague. And now it's time to send the child to the camp, the usual Turkey has somehow become expensive, and there is not much time for a summer vacation. The child is on vacation. Like it or not, turn around, parent. I admit, I was worried and afraid, and we went together. She is in the detachment, I am in a hotel room on the territory. After staying there for 5 days, she calmed down and returned home. The happy child stayed on to rest.
Now more about the camp.
The base is great. Large area, embossed, cascading down to the sea, very green. The view from the top of the hotel is amazing. Lots of greenery, squirrels, birds sing. There is nothing on the territory. Swimming pool, cafe, sports grounds. They built a stage, the rulers pass on the "square" near the hotel building. There is a playground, but here it is not very in demand, like the pool and sunbeds in front of it - it is empty all the time. “Team places” have been created on the territory - such benches in a circle where the teams gather and play / study.
Units 12, from 10 to 17 years. In the 12th squad there are kids, in the 1st the most adults. For each squad - 2 counselors. They rush with them from morning to evening, sing, dance, play, rehearse. They work to the fullest. Children are supervised at all times. If they complain about anything, it's about the lack of free time!
Accompanying children bring children, because basically, and this is clear from the name, children from the North and get to the camp for a long time. The attendants live here and work on duty during events, sleep, etc. And then they bring the kids back. There are security guards, lifeguards on the beach, in general, there was no need to worry. The main thing is that the child be independent and be able to assemble and disassemble his things, clean-dirty, do not forget to wash, etc. Counselors strictly monitor that everyone has hats - heat stroke can happen out of habit. Everyone is given branded yellow bandanas. T-shirts were also given out for the solemn event.
Actually, it's nice to see. If you think that "youth is useless now" - go see how they live in the camp. What good fellows they are, active and purposeful. How fun and interesting they are! They say there will be tears at the end of the shift. I'm really worried about this moment...
Placed on 3rd in numbers. The rooms are renovated, clean, everything works. Very decent. Several 3-story buildings for children (3 or 4) and a high hotel building, there are 7 floors. There is medical care, several doctors. At the reception you can change money, the rate is 1.91. The tour includes 2 excursions - a trip to Sozopol and 2 hours on a yacht.
They feed well. I even recovered a little during these 5 days. Children are fed in stages. After the line, the kids are launched first. And then all the other detachments in turn - so that everyone has enough space and there is no crush. Meals are promised 5 times, but in fact they are fed 3 times in the dining room and they also give out sweets 2 times a day - such as waffles or something like that. Meals are normal, as in a 3-*** hotel. For breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, cheese, sausage, sweets. For lunch and dinner, potatoes, pasta, cutlets or fish, 3 types of salads, 2 soups, one of which is usually tarator, national Bulgarian - kefir with cucumbers. Something like this. All in all, delicious. From drinks tea, water, some juices. There is a cafe where you can buy chips and stuff.
There are computers in the lobby and children can skype 2 hours a day for free. In general, the Internet (wi-fi) is paid. But the kids don't have time for it! They are always busy with something! On the beach, some kind of open Marina net catches perfectly.
The beach is small, it is still being prepared, since the season has not started. The first days the entrance there was closed so that the children themselves did not go. Children were introduced to the beach only on the 3rd day, acclimatization. And the sea is still cold. Then every day they went to the sea, but did not swim yet - so, they played in the sand, wet their feet. Rescuers are there, and a doctor, and floaters, and counselors. In general, there are enough adults and caregivers. The organization is good. In this plan. Everything is clear and well done.
Very interesting lines and concerts. Fun, fun. They come up with numbers, chants, skits, team performances.
In general, as a mother, I really liked it. It is a pity that in my time there were no such camps. Or they didn't send me.
