Vacation without children

In Bulgaria there are a lot of vacationing children. It is unlikely that you will be able to enjoy the silence and company of each other. In such budget vacation spots and go with children and with a small income. So for privacy, you'd better look for another route to rest.
In general, check the rules directly with the hotelier, maybe you will be lucky.

So our inner instinct and little experience (and even a long one) suggest that it is unlikely to find this in Bulgaria. Although you can theoretically imagine, but not in the "thick" resorts.
But the country is not so important to us - at first a question was asked - about simply the possibility of a holiday without children, in any country of the Mediterranean, including the inland seas and the Red. But there were almost no answers. So we decided to create similar questions already on the branches of countries.

I think that no hotel gives such guarantees: "not accepting children", and even at any budget. Well, except that it will be a wigwam, chum or yurt. My husband and I have been in your position for more than a year ... There are the following options: 1. Do not bother and pay no attention; 2. Pay attention: "Look how pretty!" 3. Choose a hotel with a small number of rooms (5-15), but again you will meet everyone on the beach ... 4. Search the Internet and you will always find accommodation in the private sector in any country. But in general, we stop at the first two options and thus have already visited quite a lot of countries. We are currently flying to Sri Lanka.

These are also options if there are no hotels accepting 16+. But while you want to look - there is time. Travel agencies (not all, I don’t want to offend the worthy) somehow don’t see or don’t know such a problem.
And budgeting is so relative, if you are traveling together, then you can spend more per person than if you are four. Yes, and together you can lay less on unforeseen expenses and purchases.
I propose to unite in the search and share information.

In your case, the best option is the private sector in Ravda, Pomorie or Sozopol. But on the beach - because you still stumble upon them! (I mean - children).
The advantage of the private sector is that you are not tied to the hotel kitchen, three times cheaper than 4 stars. hotel, in the garden and the garden is always fresh fruits and vegetables (as opposed to imported in hotels and shops).

Yes, I almost forgot! It is better to start looking in February, putting forward conditions (regarding children)

enter child free hotels in the search engine. now it is a fairly common service. there are such hotels in cyprus, for example. high level of service and guaranteed absence of children.

Ekaterina8020, If it doesn’t make it difficult, then in more detail, can you? What search engine was meant? I didn’t find such a service on the tour search site, I didn’t notice it on others either. Google gave a couple of interesting links to Russian-language sites about adults-only hotels. But all this is from the childfree forums.

first look at these sites - there you will understand what it is about, perhaps decide on the country and hotel, and already in the travel agency you will be asked to send you to a specific hotel. you will be issued an individual tour. It's easy. (by the way, I also found these sites through Google)

When searching, keep in mind that Bulgarians, for example, translate child free as "a free place for a child with two adults" so that there are no misunderstandings.

ekaterina8020, thank you.
I've already taken note of these suggestions. And on the strangeness (unusualness) of the interpretation of child free.
What big expenses are ready to do, if only to come with children. And the whole * sector * of the needs of a relaxing holiday without children is not covered.

hmm. Confused, to be honest) I don’t even know what to advise .... I would not go to Pomorie, Sozopol - definitely! I would go to Nessebar - exactly to its old part, the one on the island - they definitely won’t trample there with children. Or to Balchik - also not a children's resort. There is not much access to the sea. Still, as an option - look at Kaliakra. The new complex of Kaliakria Resort, everything is so decorous there, and there is nothing special for children. Child fries in Bulgaria have not yet met ...
