Resorts in Bulgaria
Hello! I would like to ask a question to connoisseurs and connoisseurs of holidays in Bulgaria. We really need your recommendations! We are going to visit Bulgaria for the first time. Can't decide on a region. Which of the regions of the coast has the most attractions (excursions and independent trips)? I am also interested in the cleanliness and convenience of the beaches (we are going with children), infrastructure. Thanks in advance everyone!

Hello! This year we were in Bulgaria for the first time in Sunny Beach. A resort where there are a lot of young people and Sunny Beach is considered a party resort. clean and warm. Sun beds and umbrellas on the beach are paid for 8 leva apiece. We lay on our towels for free. You can buy an umbrella there, it costs 10 leva. There are changing cabins and lifeguards on the beach. Near the town of Nessebar, we went to it ourselves without an excursion and visited Burgas, St. Vlas. Transportation is convenient, Buses run until 24.00. From this resort they are taken to Sozopol, to Istanbul for 1 or 2 days, to Varna, to the Bulgarian village. and vegetation. From Golden Sands, excursions to Veliko Tarnovo, Aladzha, Varna are closer. We had a hotel away from all entertainment and discos, so we had a super rest and nothing bothered us.

skopa85ua - and you don't know - you can ride to Romania on your own, to Dracula's Castle. Are there buses or just book a tour?

sandra-art, unfortunately, I don’t know about Romania and Dracula’s Castle, I can’t tell you. But I didn’t see excursions to Romania in the price list of excursions.

sandra-art, to visit Romania, you need, firstly, a Romanian visa, and secondly, a double-entry Bulgarian visa (for exit and re-entry into Bulgaria). However, you will be able to visit Romania without a visa if you follow through Romania in TRANSIT - from Bulgaria to Ukraine, or vice versa from Ukraine to Bulgaria. In this case, the Romanians provide Ukrainians with a visa-free five-day transit. You can't just ride from Bulgaria to Romania "on an excursion" without a visa. If you want to see both Romania and Bulgaria, I recommend paying attention to the bus tours from Akkord, which are organized taking into account this very transit "visa concession". On the way from / to Bulgaria, an overnight stay is provided on the territory of Romania. And tourists during the trip are brought not only to Bran Castle (Dracula's castle), but also to Peles Castle in Sinaia.

this year in July we rested in the golden sands. spmi took a car and went on an excursion in one day you can visit 3-4 places you must visit the stone forest kaliakra. well, you don’t have to go to aladzha, well, if only it’s very interesting (the entrance is more expensive than anywhere else), we didn’t like it in aladzha. entrance to excursions 3 leva everywhere. buy excursions necessarily on the beach 2 times cheaper. at the resort party around the clock during the day on the beach at night on the street party around the benevolent Germans, there are few Russians. for the whole holiday did not see any aggression. all residents and resorts are friendly

Thank you very much for your responsiveness! We decided to rush towards Nessebar. I liked the Sol Nessebar hotels. Two fours and a five next to each other communicate. Maybe someone was there? How are the impressions?

visit better Balchik!!! spacious beaches, fewer people, nothing to do in Nessebar!!! golden sands free beach line 10-15 meters, the rest is only umbrellas and sun loungers and only for money, you can’t lie next to it for free !!! and read reviews about hotels in Bulgaria very carefully. they draw the stars themselves as they want, if you see a negative review, then it’s true no matter what the tour company promises you !!!

hot.by, thank you. Can you recommend a hotel in Balchik? I really want to visit Bulgaria, but I don’t even have an idea about the service, I’m afraid to get into a mess with the hotel. My husband and I do not care, we are not spoiled, but we have children with us, we want them to feel good. And the quality of food and the cleanliness of the beach and animation and slides they want. All hope for your recommendations.

Nessebar turned out to be a pleasant old town. You don’t have to go to Nessebar itself, it is 15 minutes from Sunny Beach, where it’s fun - or if you like it - St. Vlasa, where it's quiet

What a pity that we were in Bulgaria and I did not see your question. Of course, for excursions and independent trips, you need to take the northern (Varna) region. There are many more interesting trips and excursions from there. Nessebar is not quite suitable for families with children, but the Nessebar Bay complex (mare, palace) is suitable. Only there people darkness. I don't agree about Balchik at all. Where did hot.by get that there are spacious beaches and fewer people? There are no beaches at all, and on what is, the people do not fit. You have to be so misinformed! Your resort, given that you are with children - Albena. If you go until August, then there may be an Obzor (if the children are small). Several hotels on St. Constantine will do. If you want detailed information, please ask. I hope that you did not go to Balchik. Read my reviews of this year: Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Albena.

In St. Vlas or Elenite, it is extremely calm, I wrote about this already. If you need a quiet place nearby. The sea, the pines... there are no crowds, there is no abundance of clubs like in the north coast or those who come to see the city like in Nessebar itself, where, in my opinion, it is better to come to see
