Sorry, I'll ask too. This year we are "threatened" with a vacation in September. Already took Greece for 2 weeks. But my question is not just about the weather, I know it's good, but by sea? We want to Greece 2 weeks to Bulgaria. I heard a lot that the sea is warm, but stormy. I don't want to see the "red flag" all the time

Our expert on Bulgaria Poola also says that it is real to have a rest in September. I just want to hear the advice of those who rested in September. Thanks in advance!

My friends all unanimously tell me that the weather in September is not capricious at all. The sea is very warm and the air temperature is not lower than in August (maybe by 2 degrees, perhaps)
The agency advised us in the last days of August and the first (4-6) days of September not to take a ticket, because at that time it was stormy, but later again the heat, comfort and grace.
And the prices are much lower for housing, food and everything else ...

I just want to hear other opinions too) maybe many will confirm this trend.

Cooling often happens for 3 days in the last days of August - the first days of September. Then everything is back to normal. We usually leave on September 5-6, the weather is good, but not baking. After us, our manager from TA immediately goes, always to Sunny Beach. Says it's okay. But of course there is no guarantee. I advise you to take a hotel with an indoor pool, just in case. I would even take on St. Constantine, Estreya Palace Hotel. Indoor pool with mineral water, there is a thermal pool in the resort, interesting excursions.

Nature really doesn't have bad weather. But to say that on such and such dates there will be such and such weather, I would not undertake. I live here for the second year. All last May, like all summer, the weather was very warm and sunny. Once there was a very heavy downpour in early June, when so much rain fell in 1 hour (with hail the size of peas) that impassable puddles stood on the low-lying sections of the road from Sveti Vlas to Sunny Beach for a couple of hours, and cars overcame these sections with difficulty. This year it rained for 10 days for 2-3 days. Last year, there were no prolonged rains for 2-3 days from May 1 to mid-September, and this year there were such rains three times. Even the sea turned cold after 3 days of rain. But at the very end of May it was already +23. Last year, in mid-September, it rained for 3-4 days, and then it became warm again. You can swim comfortably until mid-October. Then it's colder. The last time I climbed into the sea on November 9, and on the 10th it started to rain for a couple of days, and my swimming ended.
And the advice is this: you can safely go for 2 weeks in September. Even if it rains for 2-3 days, you can swim to your heart's content. And in the rain, go to the SPA in Pomorie or Elenite, and there are many of them in Sunny Beach

I don’t know how it was in Sveti Vlas last year, but when we arrived in Sozopol on June 28, we just got into a hurricane. Rain, and most importantly wind. I haven't seen that. Chairs and a table were blown off the balcony, because of the wind there were just huge waves on the sea. I have a photo. As a result, the red flag hung for 4 days, we saw everything we could see, we also sat in restaurants and were glad that we had 24 days. But those who came for a week or 10 days were shocked. Sitting by the sea and not swimming is not very good. There's just nothing to do. They go to the sea after the sea. I have a spa at my house. Managed for a year.

In Bulgaria in September the weather is good. On the coast, you probably want to go there, in the Varna-Burgas region, the average air temperature is 24-26 degrees, it can be higher than 30, sometimes it is windy, but it rarely rains. After September 22-25, it gets colder by 3-5 degrees. Temperature water is equal to or slightly lower than the air temperature, so swimming is pleasant. But, in general, in Bulgaria you can always have a good rest, even in September, even in January. Good luck, good mood and relaxation!

I never liked cold water, but over the summer in Bulgaria, with everyday swimming, I got used to a gradual decrease in water temperature. This is me about the beneficial climate of Bulgaria for the body. Especially in the area of Sveti Vlas, where there is a combination of sea and mountain air. And Sunny Beach is very close. And winter never sneezed. Although in Russia every year there were bronchitis and acute respiratory infections.
In vain, someone thinks that the SPA center in the Grand Hotel Pomorie with its water in the pool with a mineralization of 600,000 units (almost like in the Dead Sea) is identical to the SPA in Moscow or Kyiv.

Kozyrog, I read all your blogs about Bulgaria. Something I liked, something just funny. You actively promoted the company through which you bought housing. I laughed for a long time that the Bulgarians could work at a loss for us Russians! I am glad that after living in the city of Velikiye Luki you are happy!

I will answer Irinevladi71.
Write better. Am I against it. And I will not criticize anonymously. I'm not going to deny that I brought to everyone information about a reliable realtor who will not set up and will not throw. I have already referred 5 buyers to him. And not only acquaintances, but also relatives. Someone came after my notes.
I want to give you two pieces of advice.
1. Do not judge others by yourself. Just a few hours ago, a realtor called me about influencing my nephew (whom I set up with him yesterday, and we went together today to look at different apartment options) so that he does not buy more expensive housing in the same complex where we stopped. And he explained why you need to take it there, but cheaper. Will he lose his income? Will lose.
In my provincial Velikiye Luki, I got used to helping people, and not to make an income from this help. If I go somewhere for my own purposes, then I never take any payment from my fellow travelers. And if you need to get from Sveti Vlas to the airport, please contact us. It will cost you 10 liters of gasoline for the round trip and the cost of parking at the airport. Usually take 40-50 leva. Calculate if I will have income from this.
2. Work on your Russian.

I don't have to judge myself. I have known Bulgarian for a very long time. We've been friends since college. Kind, responsive people. Friends for 20 years now. And when it comes to financial matters, then they themselves say that Bulgarians are very economical people, and, as our friend Zhelyu laughs, they are greedy in places. They work a lot during the season, without days off, the children start helping in business early. Economical in food. In short, they know how to count money. Nothing falls from the sky on them. They will not miss their financial advantage. The realtor helped you, but how many people did you refer to him? So everything is mutually beneficial for you! And on the second point, the same advice to you!
