Usually they buy Bulgarian silver and products made from sheep's wool, as well as the original seasoning - "sharena sol" is called, it is an integral ingredient of "Shopska salad". Last year I brought "sharenu sol" only for gifts - now I regret that I didn't leave it for myself :)

By the way, I remembered small souvenirs. I liked Bulgarian postcards. Because they have writing in Cyrillic and are very similar to the Russian language, you can find funny inscriptions like "Much Happiness and Kasmet for the Birth of Ti Den". As "useful" souvenirs I bought Bulgarian henna (K'nu in Bulgarian) for lovers of natural colors.
