Which resort is best for children?
We are going to Bulgaria for the first time. 2 adults and 2 children (5 years old and 1 year old). Have no idea where to go? Where will children be comfortable, fun and not very noisy to sleep at night? Where is the cleanest air and sea? And where is a good children's hotel with animation for the eldest and a nanny for the youngest?

if finances allow, for a holiday with children, look at Elenite

Albena!

If the Author is looking for a quiet resort for kids, then Albena is not included in this concept. It is not noisy there unless you rent an apartment or a hotel room that is far from the sea. The entire coastal area is very noisy.

We have been going to Bulgaria for 8 years in a row. On a / m drove all the coast from Romania to Turkey. Where is the best resort? Dunes! If your budget allows, you won't regret it!

Yes, it all depends on the budget. We traveled 8 years in a row to Bulgaria, we drove all the coast from Romania to Turkey by car. Where is the best resort? Dunes! If you have enough money, you won't regret it!

Elenite - no way!!! It used to be good there, about 10 years ago. Now it is an anthill with unsanitary conditions. If only you go out of season (the first days of June or September, then you can, but it makes no sense, the season in Bulgaria is from mid-June to mid-September, and the best period is August. Albena is very good and not noisy at all, but at 23 o'clock in general everything is silent, there is no nightlife on the streets, there are good hotels there.
Dunes - a good, expensive resort. If you are satisfied with the fact that it is isolated, i.e. there is practically no connection with other places (the nearest city of Sozopol can only be reached by taxi), then you can take it. This resort has its fans.
We have been going to Bulgaria for a very long time, 12 years, and for no less than a month, we change 3 resorts for a trip. Our favorite places are Nessebar, Albena and Sunny Beach, but the latter is not in the center, but on the outskirts, the center is noisy. We love the southern part, and our favorite hotel is Tiara Beach.
In Albena we love Sandy Beach, Arabela Beach, Kaliakra (but it's expensive), Dobrotitsa.

If, on the road from Varna to Obzor, turn towards the sea in Staro Oryahovo, then the road will lead to Shkorpilovtsy, to the Long Beach. Check out the Long Beach Hotel & Spa, expensive but cool. I visited that beach when there was nobody and nothing there, now they have built a little, but cleanliness and silence have been preserved (judging by the reviews). I would take my grandchildren there.

Of course, there are no friends for taste and color, as they say. Nevertheless, I will remind all respected lovers of Bulgaria or express my opinion: - for 9 years of trips, we have finally decided, only the southern coast. Neither Long Beach, nor Albena, nor Obzor, etc. Everywhere there are inconveniences. And south of Sozopol, there are fewer inconveniences, and more pleasures.! If someone wants to go to Varna, please take a bus, car, etc. for a day at the Dolphinarium is very good. And the sea is cleaner and warmer in the South. In Burgas and S. Bereg, it’s still crowded and dirty for me. There are other hotels and clubs near the Dunes complex, but you won't find better Dunes in all of Bulgaria.

In Sozopol there is a hotel "Selena" 3 *. There is good animation. We ourselves brought children there many times, although we live in a different hotel. The beach is clean, the air is great

In Sozopol, the main part of the hotels are private villas, without animation and nannies, and this is stated in the priorities of the author. And you have to choose your hotel very carefully. We have not been to Sozopol for a long time, but I know that the beaches there are crowded. The town, although cute, is hilly, and they have a baby in a stroller, it is not very convenient to move around. I know only one good hotel there, our forum member constantly went there and shared her impressions with me, this is Martinez, but it is very expensive. I myself was in the Shell, the villa of Dima and Ivan Lazarov. On the shore is the Selena Hotel, mentioned here, but, in my opinion, that beach (it is small) will not accommodate everyone. It was tight before.

I'm sure no one reads all the suggestions and comments anymore ... They asked and forgot .....

If the beach near "Selena" is cramped, then you can go to the beach "Harmani", not far. In Sozopol, everything is close by. As for hilliness: this is how "Selena" stands right on the beach, you won't have to climb the mountain. :)
Other tourists can read our comments, and not today, it's still useful. :)

We rested with a child of 6 years last year in early July in Sunny Beach at the Tiara Beach Hotel - we really liked it! (thank you very much for the recommendation irina1901). Cozy clean hotel with very good food. There is a kids club-pool/slides. At this time, the beach is quite free. The only negative is the animation is practically in a foreign language. But we didn’t even go, there are many entertainments in the area. I recommend.
