Where is the best place to go in Nessebar?
Hello! I'm going to Sunny Beach in the middle of June (Slavyansky Hotel). Tell me, please, how best to get to Nessebar and where is the best place to go, what sights to see?

A trolleybus runs from Sunny Beach to Nessebar - the ticket price is ridiculous: 1 lev. Here, extreme people manage to walk along the embankment - but it's a pity for the time spent (offhand from "Slavic" it will be an hour and a half, if not more). Yes, and you’re kidding, better save your strength for a voyage along Nessebar.
Nessebar is one solid attraction :) As we did. We arrived on this very trolley bus, then went for a walk along the embankment - the views are amazing there. After about half an hour on the move, we stumbled upon wonderful restaurants on the embankment, ate in one of them. The sea view from there is amazing!! And-- silence and whim!! Then we went along the old streets to the center - it is right there, nearby. Almost the entire city is almost an open-air museum of Bulgarian handicrafts: Bulgarians exhibit very interesting handicrafts at almost every house (DIFFERENT - list and list), you can walk and buy something for yourself.

In the center there is an ancient church of Christ, and at the entrance to the city there are the ruins of an ancient fortress. By the way, it is at the entrance - a lot of "sea" restaurants (with the appropriate entourage), where live crayfish swim right in the aquarium))) Yes, and do not forget to inspect (again at the entrance to Nessebar) its symbol is a mill. Telescopes are scattered along the embankment near it, lower a coin - look at Sunny Beach.
I recommend returning to Sunny Beach by "sea taxi" - a boat that periodically goes to Sat and back. Parking - on the embankment, not far from the mill. I forgot to write that when, upon arrival, you go around along the dialed line, you will see a "camp" of boats (including destroyed ones) and almost a whole ship "Afordita".
If you go on holiday in Bulgaria in August, you can get to the City Day in Nessebar (somewhere around August 24, if I'm not mistaken). At this time, paper birds are hung all over the center :) Have a good trip to Nessebar! :)

turec22 I am also flying to the hotel "Slavyansky" in June (14th) for a vacation))) Have you been there before?

Just take the bus and go to the Old Town (to the Mill). And then - this is an open-air museum, you can walk all day. And it is better to take a tour of Nessebar-Sozopol, you will learn a lot of interesting things.

Mm... I wouldn't mix my impressions of Nessebar-Sozopol IMHO It's better to watch separately. Both that, and that - rodo-history. Like sweets - one today, and another tomorrow :) Otherwise, you can overeat and not feel the taste. Moreover, from Sunny Beach to Nessebar is within easy reach, before the wave has time to run from coast to coast - and you have already reached Nessebar :)

But how to find out where, what stop and when to get off?)) What if you pass by?)) And if you don’t take a tour, can you buy some kind of guidebook to find out about the places you visit?
аватар elenka_miss
Please tell me, if you take a tour, where is it better and cheaper to do it?
аватар irina_1901
Do not pass by, a lot of people will go out. The conductor also speaks Russian. I can’t say for sure about the guidebook, but the city plan should be on the malls or in newsstands. Excursions are best done with a guide, whom you will meet on the second day, they will tell you everything, but not cheaper. Cheaper on the street, but there will be savings on good transport and a guide. We went in different ways, but from the host agency it is better and more interesting.

We decided to go to Nessebar, go to the road, look for a stop, read which route goes to Nessebar. The final stop is the island - the miracle of Nessebar. . and maybe on your towel. Hungry, straight from the beach up the stairs and you are already in a cafe. Return to the same room you arrived in, and then you will definitely be near your hotel and not at the bus station or even worse. Whatever you didn't see today, continue next time. Rested in July in "Baikal 3" food in September again. In general, there is an idea to buy an apartment here. Studio 9.500 euro 27 sqm
