I think that there is no point in going towards the northern coast - it is far and tiring. I would advise Nessebar-Sozopol with a tour, not by yourself, to listen to the guide, it's interesting. Go to a Bulgarian village for a picnic with folklore. I like Sliven-Zheravna, it's deep into Bulgaria. In general, excursions are more interesting from the north coast. And I really liked the excursion to Balchik, visiting the botanical garden. Then to Cape Kaliakra. This is generally a beauty! Stone garden. (It was all in one tour). I traveled from Pomorie. Far away, of course, but it was fun to go. And it's not boring at all. There were a lot of elderly people and children on the bus with us. No one looked tired or dissatisfied. Everyone loved it!
