How much money to take with you?
I'm going to rest in the hotel "Slavyansky" in June (for 14 nights), only breakfasts are included. In general, I am going to Bulgaria for the first time. Tell me how much money to take from both (in euros).

It depends on how far you are going to turn around. I spent 1300 dollars on everything in 15 days (14 nights) (by the way, I lived in Shipka, this is a neighbor of Slavyansky). But I didn’t save too much, I took all the excursions that I could take (except Istanbul-- it is worth going to it separately.) Excursions are not sky-high, I just had a lot of them))) In the "Slavyansky" area - restaurants are cheaper, closer to the center - more expensive, so take this into account, you can eat more economically, although the quality it won't fall off.

Thanks Oksana for the feedback. I want to save money on excursions. Reading the reviews I understand that you can visit different places on your own. In terms of food - I eat a little)))
And how much money did it take you, excluding excursions?
аватар Biker_Oksana
Oh, I can’t say that, you need to pick up old records and count. But it went pretty well. On some excursions it is still better and easier to go in a group. For example, in Sofia. But in Nessebar, Sozopol, Burgas, Varna - it is quite possible on your own.
аватар Biker_Oksana
The most popular answer by experts to the question "How much money to take" and probably the closest to the truth and averaged in relation to all trips: take with you an amount equal to the cost of the tour.
аватар aniuta-lida
I plan to invest in 500 ye))) after reading the reviews, I think it's real ???
Thanks again Oksana.
аватар Biker_Oksana
Ue-- euros or dollars? If you don’t trot on excursions and don’t come off on the rides, that’s enough. But look, so that you don’t feel sorry later that you missed something interesting. All the same, take and hide another 150 from yourself - it is not necessary to poke them, but let them be just in case of a fire. Please note that there may be unplanned expenses. Pah-pah, of course, don’t get sick and don’t get lost somewhere on the trip so that you don’t have to fork out - but I always take NZ to feel calm.

Oksana, did you keep the money at home or in the hotel safe? Did you tip the maids and how much?
аватар Biker_Oksana
In the room :))) The maid who cleaned my room was VERY decent - even the person could see the degree of delicacy and some kind of wisdom in life, a GOOD attitude towards people. treated her to a Ukrainian chocolate and several times left 2 leva (equals approximately 1 euro). But I didn’t tip very often in 15 days - not out of greed, I don’t even know why, maybe because this is not Egypt and not Turkey with their constant “come on! come on! come on at every step!”, here and For a room with a sea view did not give a bribe.

Have you been to the water park? I read on the internet that the water park in Nessebar is better than in SB.
And also souvenirs (home to friends): magnets, various "pink" soaps, oils, etc. about what?
аватар Biker_Oksana
Nope, I wasn’t, I’m not a big fan of water parks, give me more of some kind of national treasure. If I had more time, I would go, of course. But I wanted to have time to travel around those cities that interested me.
You also need to rummage around the cost of souvenirs - all expenses were recorded, but you need to look somewhere.

Thanks Oksana
аватар Biker_Oksana
To health! I will find records - I will write in detail at prices.
аватар aniuta-lida
OK
аватар ekaterina8020
water parks in SB and Nessebar are absolutely equivalent .. like twin brothers .. the cost depends on whether you go for the whole day or half a day ..
http://www.aquaparadise-bg.com/ - there are prices here..
аватар Biker_Oksana
Found)))
-12.50 leva-- all soap-roses (it seems there were 5 of them + 3 tiny tubes of rose oil)
-5 leva-- pink shower gel ( fixed price for 200 ml-- 5-6 leva )
-3 leva-- magnet from Nessebar
-125 leva-- for 2 excursions (jeep safari and the Bulgarian village (I bought, apparently, at the same time, I don’t remember now))
-150 leva-- 2-day excursion to Sofia (with arrival and several hours excursion in Plovdiv, further with arrival and overnight stay in Bansko, the next day-- with a stop at the Rila Monastery)
-50 leva-- per disc (video) from our safari
-20 leva squandered somewhere (I also wrote it down for accounting))) )
-20 leva-- ride around the city on a phaeton ( mini-tour around the night Sunny Beach )
-55 leva-- "Khan's tent" (cabaret-type show program)
-35 levs - excursion with a group to Sozopol (I don't remember why I didn't go on my own)
-1.60 leva - here, I found the price of one rose soap.
аватар Biker_Oksana
1 euro cost 1.91 leva. If you put everything in a pile and subtract it from the total amount spent, you can approximately get how much I spent on other additional expenses (restaurants (from time to time - with drinks for dinner), fruits, sweets in the market, all kinds of sea taxis from Nessebar (10 leva one way), independent trips to Nessebar, all sorts of swells, booze home, trail ice (ice cream), sweets on the beach (donuts in cream there - stunned! + one hundred thousand kilocalories on your sides)))), took a sunbed a couple of times, buying a mat so as not to pay for a sunbed, a fee for "look through a telescope at the rings of Saturn" (2 leva) and many other little things). In short, all expenses, in addition to excursions (well, and the indicated "small" items).

Oksana thank you so much for such a detailed answer.
But I want to clarify something else: did you take $ 1,300 (you wrote earlier) with you, or is it all together with a tour package?
I paid for early booking at a travel agency:
- for a tour package (with round-trip flights, 3* hotel, breakfast included) - 380 euros;
- 60 euros - this is for a visa;
- 10 euros - for medical insurance.
And in the end we get 450 euros. So I wrote here to find out how much money to take with me ....
аватар Biker_Oksana
This is for everything-everything: a ticket (with a visa) + expenses on the spot. Moreover, I looked more carefully at my notes - this amount includes a perfume from Nina Ricci, bought in duty free. So, when calculating, you can also discard about 56 euros spent on this female joy)))

Are you flying alone? Is this payment for a single?
аватар aniuta-lida
I am flying with my sister and her family, only they will live in the Marvel 4 * hotel, which is next to my hotel. What is a single?
аватар Biker_Oksana
Single - when when alone in the room. "Home Alone" (c) )))))
аватар aniuta-lida
yes, it means SINGLE))) - I have a single room

How much did your visa ticket cost?
аватар irina_1901
Oksana, of course, rested to the fullest. We did not do so many excursions, only 2-3. There are not many of them from the south coast. But we love with a guide, you can not only look there, but you can also listen to a lot of interesting things. I recommend Nessebar-Sozopol-Ropotamo. Still Sliven-Zheravna, you can have a Bulgarian village and a picnic yacht. For food: You can have lunch at your hotel, but I recommend going to the end of the resort for dinner, prices differ dramatically. Last year we were at the Isola Parodies all-inclusive hotel, but there was a restaurant nearby with ridiculous prices for Sunny Beach. By the way, Isola, although far from the sea (500 m), is a very pleasant hotel, and by early booking it cost us sngl for 14 days - 275 euros for all inclusive. This year we are going to Trakia in August. I think that you need to take 500 euros, that should be enough. The shops there are good. I advise you to look at the CARIOCA summer shoes, they are there next to the fruit rows, very, very comfortable, I take them every year, but they don’t wear out. But only this firm!

How much did your visa ticket cost?
------
About 750 dollars (with visa and insurance). I had a double room - but they are all like that, I was just alone in the room.
Apparently, early booking is still cheaper. I went in August - in the high season, prices jumped up. I bought it about two weeks before departure, lasted with the choice almost to the last))), I remember, there were not so many options - they snapped up, or something, Bulgaria ...

I recommend going to the end of the resort for dinner, prices differ dramatically
------
I'm subscribing :) But "Slavyansky" is almost at the very end of the resort and is located (behind it there is one more = -two hotels, and I missed it), so it's just right for aniuta-lida.
I recommend Nessebar-Sozopol-Ropotamo.
------
The Ropotamo River (and riding on it on a boat-boat, right up to the place where it flows into the Black Sea) was "included" in our excursion program to Sozopol.
In short, you can go to Sozopol with a guided tour (pass through Burgas and Burgas at the same time look, on the way back we were brought for a couple of hours), and to Nessebar - on your own for sure.
аватар Biker_Oksana
And what is Sliven-Zheravna? Tell me, please. I don't even remember such a proposed tour...
аватар irina_1901
Our host was the Tedi Kam agency, they had this tour. A trip deep into Bulgaria, quite interesting. A village that has not changed since the 17th century, descending by cable car.

BUT! Understood, thanks.
