IS IT WORTH TO GO FROM 20 SEP TO 20 OCTOBER 2009
Good afternoon, I have never been to Bulgaria before. I usually go to Turkey. This year there is a chance not to go anywhere at all, and Bulgaria is cheaper. Please give a detailed answer, where to go and what to see there. What is the weather like at that time? Water and air temperature (average). Interested in a quiet holiday (without clubs and discos), but not on the outskirts, but so that you can walk somewhere on foot. Just interested in the price level, How much is food in cafes. What do they usually buy?

Last year we went from September 5th to 19th to Nessebar. Until September 13, the weather was wonderful (water around +20, air around +25-27), and then it deteriorated sharply - they flew away in the rain. Although "experienced" people assured that usually the opposite is true - it storms in early September, and then - the "velvet season". In any case, if you are going to the sea in autumn, you should take warm clothes with you - after all, Bulgaria is not Africa;) It will be cool in autumn evenings. For a relaxing holiday, the same Nessebar, Sozopol are suitable for you ... If you are only interested in the beach and the sea "without attractions", then you can choose small villages such as Ravda, or Sveti Vlas. I don’t remember the prices for cafes, I only remember that they are comparable to those in Kiev. You can easily eat food from supermarkets. We usually bought cheeses and local wine for dinner :) We dined in a restaurant in Old Nessebar, a lunch of cherry and Greek salad + 50 gr. drinks for two cost about 20 leva ($ 1 is about 2.5 leva)
