Meal cost per day
We are going to go three of us for 10 days in Sozopol to a hotel without meals. How much money is needed for this period to feed 2 adults and a 13-year-old child. This refers to eating in a cafe, as well as partially cooking yourself (apartments with a kitchen).

This, of course, depends on how much you eat :) We were last year. The prices in the stores were the same as in Kyiv (I don't know if this tells you something). There is no market like we have, but vegetables and fruits can be bought at stalls and in the store. Fruit was even cheaper than at home. In the cafe, the prices of our restaurants, but the portions are large. Shopska salad was 4 Leva ($2.5), but the portion can be divided for two if you take something else. For dinner for three you need $ 20-25. They also have Chinese restaurants, where portions are 600 grams each. I don't remember the price, but it's cheap. For breakfast, while I was making coffee, my husband had time to bathe pancakes with different fillings or banitsa (these are pastries with different fillings).

I agree with the previous answer. I just want to add that cafes and restaurants in the Old Town, of course, are more expensive than in the New. Although in the New there are different prices. In 2008, we liked the restaurant of the Amon Ra hotel - the prices are not the lowest, but not cosmic either, but a pleasant entourage. If you want to be completely home-made, you can go to a small cafe in one of the courtyards, called Litus. A significant part of the bill for lunch / dinner is occupied by drinks, if you do not order them, and then just drink juice or whatever else in your room, you can save a lot.

In fact, Shopska salad can be found for 2.5-3 leva... And this does not mean that it will be worse than the one for 4!
And so in all restaurants they offer a "lunch menu" - something like a set lunch of 3 courses. From 11.30 to 17.00. The usual price of such a dinner (there can be from 3 to 9 options) in the New Town is 5 leva.
And just do not object to me - at the moment I am in Sozopol!

I think that no one is going to object to you. Moreover, the rest time is indicated. Prices can change both in one direction and the other. And if you are in Sozopol now, you could give people more detailed information about prices.

I support Lana, Dreddy, you could give not only information on prices, but also a tip where you can eat, and what is delicious and interesting to eat from the national cuisine.

Girls (and boys), thanks for the info. I have never been there, but I already know how the names of the most common dishes will be in Bulgarian, what you should definitely try, how to contact the waiters, that there are about 300 cafes and bars in Sozopol, etc. And all from the Internet. Thanks!:)
