There is on st. Republican, 10 supermarket "Bolero" and right next to another one, I don't remember the name. The size is average, I would say, not AUCHAN, of course.

No. In general, there are no big shops in Sozopol. They mostly eat in cafes. Fruits and vegetables are almost 90% imported from Turkey, but not of poor quality. On the central square there is a good seafood store, you can buy very good shrimp.

The town is "overpopulated" with tourists from June 15 to September 15, when the population increases from 4 thousand to 10 thousand. There is a supermarket in Sozopol, quite spacious, not far from the bus station. There is also a market on that side, which has very reasonable prices and a huge selection of vegetables / fruits. In that supermarket, by the way, we stocked up before leaving, brought home all sorts of yummy things. But if you need a supermarket the size of a metro or auchan, there weren’t any like that in 2013 for sure.

There are no HYPERmarkets in Sozopol - they never asked about them. And there are several SUPERmarkets. Bolero, shop on pl. Black Sea, the supermarket at the top and the supermarket in the market are open all year round. The supermarket next to Bolero is open seasonally. The supermarket on the corner of Ropotamo/Odessa is also seasonal. A huge number of other shops and markets in the old and new city are open.
