I went with my son this summer to Chernivtsi. Stayed 2 nights and 3 full days at the Knaus apartments. The cost is quite high, but the location is super - the very center of the city and at the same time a quiet courtyard, all the sights are within walking distance, we even walked from the station and back for about 15 minutes. There the rooms are like separate apartments, we had a one-room apartment with our own kitchen. We agreed on an early check-in and a late check-out (+25% for each) over the phone without any problems. There is also a restaurant of the same name, which is expensive by the standards of Chernivtsi. The price includes breakfast. For lunch and dinner, we went to the pedestrian street of Olga Kobylyanska, it's very close, there are many delicious cafes and restaurants. The city itself is small. I recommend visiting the University, the local history museum and the zoological museum from the university. )

Located in the private sector of the city (actually - a private house), in a very quiet place. By their standards, not in the center - 15-20 minutes walk to the center. The hotel has a swimming pool with 2 saunas (Turkish and Finnish). We had a lot of fun swimming there with the family in dimmed light on autumn evenings! At the hotel there is a bar where you can order food in advance for a certain time (it's good just after swimming!).
