How much money to take?
My husband and I are going to Alushta in September for 10 days. The hotel only has breakfast. How much money do you need approximately with you for excursions, meals and entertainment? $1000 is enough without expensive restaurants???

It turns out 400 hryvnia people / day. Should be enough for moderate needs.

Sure enough! We went to Alushta three times, once in September, the prices for excursions will just drop ... There are inexpensive canteens, a lot of cafes on the beach ...

Thanks a lot!!! Hope we get some rest :))))
аватар maschulka861
Of course, it's good there))) This year, unfortunately, we can't go to Alushta.

For example: In early July, a vacation near Feodosia, 5 nights / 7 days, with travel from Dnepropetrovsk, housing, food, cost me 900gr. (110 dollars) for everything :)
This is of course a budget option, and the weather was not very good.

maschulka861, can you tell me what the weather is like in September ??? I would love to buy...
аватар elenavyborg
Oleksii64, we do not know how to budget)))) I want everything)))
аватар Oleksii64
The weather is usually good, the sea is warm.
Well, if you want everything, you need to start with 10,000 dollars :))))))
Have a nice holiday!

Thanks!!! $10,000 no, unfortunately))))

we rested in early September for 10 days, the weather was good, the only thing in the evening is already cool without a blouse, it rained a couple of times, the sea is somehow cool for me, but there are not so many people in the water, basically everyone was sunbathing))) )

maschulka861, thank you very much!!!!

On excursions: we went to Sudak (it’s very beautiful, but it’s a bit far, if you can stand the road well, then I advise you to visit there ... a Genoese fortress, a beautiful sandy beach, a champagne factory), Ai-Petri (also cool, beautiful pictures turned out) , a mountain canyon and a bath of youth (be sure to wear comfortable shoes, I went in flip flops, I thought I would go crazy, but I liked it, such an extreme excursion turned out, but it lasted all day), we went to Cape Fiolent (not very, the water is cold, crystal, beautiful really, but I don’t advise), the botanical garden - we went on a trolleybus ourselves in the morning, we also liked it, we went to the zoo in Yalta - it’s very large, we took pictures with a lion cub, everyone didn’t even go around)))

maschulka861, thanks for the advice!!! Very valuable! In principle, you wrote everything that I planned to visit with my husband! only + Sevastopol ... I lived there, but my husband never was ... but comfortable shoes - sandals will do? Or preferably running shoes?
аватар maschulka861
Sandals will also come off, as long as they don’t fall off your feet, otherwise you can walk on the stones ... We also went to Sevastopol, it took a long time to go, the city is beautiful, which struck me - it’s very clean, we went on boats, had a tour around the city, ate and panorama we looked ... The road took a lot of time because of this, I didn’t like it very much, it was tiring ... We went on horseback rides to the valley of ghosts - the tour starts at 15-16 hours, ride horses for an hour, take pictures, visit something like a museum there torture, then a barbecue and back to Alushta, we liked it
аватар maschulka861
We also went to the caves, but for some reason we were not impressed, although other tourists liked it!!! In general, see what is closer in spirit to you, go on those excursions)
аватар elenavyborg
maschulka861, I would like to see everything! We are inquisitive ... but the time is 10 days, and the excursions, I think, are not cheap ... 400 hryvnias for two, I suppose? Not less...
аватар maschulka861
Some excursions are cheaper, there are excursions that are easier to go on a trawl, yalta, the botanical garden of sevastopol turns out to be three times cheaper ... The most expensive excursions are caves, pike perch, ah-petri
аватар elenavyborg
maschulka861 , yes, we will do that ... wherever we can - ourselves ... and to the mountains - with an excursion. And how many days were you, what did you manage to do everywhere ???
аватар maschulka861
So we went there for 3 summers in a row, for 10 days .. we went on some excursions twice ... And so, on average, we took 4 excursions for 10 days, well, we went somewhere ourselves ... The most important thing is money on the train don’t change, the exchange rate is not very profitable, and don’t buy a sim card on the train either, it’s cheaper in alushta ...
аватар elenavyborg
maschulka861, we are flying on a plane!) So I think - 4 excursions maximum ... I want to fall on the beach ...

The most expensive excursion from the Feodosia region was as follows: Feodosia-Simferopol-Bakhchisaray-Ai-Petri (visiting a waterfall, something else along the way) - descent on the cable car to Miskhor-Feodosia. Something like 400gr/person. An hour boat trip in June Alupka-Yalta with a guide (audi guide?) -60 hryvnia.
Here, for example, the Vorontsov Palace in Alupka, I recommend it. The layout for a person is as follows: Troll. Alushta-Yalta 5 + 5gr, 27 minibus from the Yalta bus station to Vorontsovsky Park-8 + 8. The park is free, Southern terraces 2 (or 4 - I don’t remember), Tour of the palace and Southern terraces-50gr.
Total: from 26 to 76 gr. per person (3 - 9 USD)
