Please advise a small town in the Crimea for a family holiday with a child of 8 years old. We have never been to Ukraine at all, ideally I would like to relax in a small settlement. with the possibility of going to a larger city on an excursion - as an evening, for example, entertainment. Maybe someone even has a c / t of someone renting a house (we plan to go savages).

I can reset Gurzuf's contacts. Private owner. We stayed with him 2 years ago. 2 rooms with a kitchen, a washing machine, a bathroom, there was always hot water. If you don’t like him (suddenly, it happens) he will help with the settlement. Farther...
My husband and I are going to Alushta in September for 10 days. The hotel only has breakfast. How much money do you need approximately with you for excursions, meals and entertainment? $1000 is enough without expensive restaurants???

Tell me, please, what kind of beach is there (are there sunbeds, sun loungers, towels), is it closed or not? As far as I understand, this is far from civilization, how to get to the city, on excursions?

The entire territory of the hotel is closed. Da Vasco has its own beach with sun loungers, awnings and towels. There is more than enough space for everyone. You can get to Alushta by minibus (runs on schedule, 70 rubles) or by taxi (300 rubles). Excursions are sold directly on the territory, their prices are the same as in Alushta. In 2017, we went to the Yalta Zoo (I liked it very much), the Glade of Fairy Tales (not very much) and to the Alushta Dolphinarium (very cool). Farther...

Good afternoon! I have been living in Yalta for more than 20 years. As a resident of this resort, I can advise for your parents the boarding house "Yalta - all year round", the former sanatorium "Zaporozhye". Its location allows you to walk slowly to the promenade and beaches (20-30 minutes) and at the same time, if you wish, you can comfortably visit more distant, but also less crowded beaches of the coast by hotel buses. In addition, there are two beautiful parks nearby: Chekhov and Primorsky ... Farther...

If you want a second Turkey, but with worse quality, then the above will probably do. But I choose old sanatoriums in Crimea. Only they have big parks and big beaches. For children, and for you, I think, air, space are more important on vacation in Crimea ... Of course, there will be a less comfortable room, there will be no buffet, but a huge territory! And almost all of the above institutions have a small territory, the Levant and Seaside Park have none at all. So choose sanatoriums: Dnipro, ... Farther...

Here we recall the slogan of the party: "We promised - we fulfill!" :-) All the novelties announced at the beginning of the holiday season in the hotel "Mar Le Mar" are successfully functioning and allow diversifying the rest of our guests. This is a new multifunctional sports ground, it is also a tennis court (you can take balls, rackets from the animators), there is even an automatic partner who serves the balls to the player. The bath complex - Mar Le Mar Kaif and the contrasting bath proce ... Farther...

Inexpensive to eat in the Crimea - this is a relative concept, because. prices in cafes and restaurants for food and drinks bite. We ate at Silver - a cafe in Ai-Todor, and at the Canteen - opposite the Marat stop, across the road, above the supermarket (very decent food and relatively inexpensive). Near the cafe "Marat", "At the mother-in-law" - the prices are almost the same, we liked both there and there. There is also a supermarket that sells food, drinks, incl. and wine on tap. In general, ... Farther...

You can really get to the sea through the park and Vorontsovsky and Alupkinsky. What do garbage dumps and endless stairs mean? This IraSkorba is some kind of unsatisfied life and generally nothing and no one is a pessimist. I don’t know why she writes this, but you can quickly get to the sea along a short path. If you didn't want stairs, why didn't you go to Austria or Tunisia? What, not enough money? So this is your IraSkorba problem, not the Crimea. Crimea is generally not a flat peninsula. Ge ... Were on some excursions, they all liked the palaces (Alupka and Livadia), Sevastopol (there is an excellent road and an interesting tour of the center), and Sudak, namely the Golitsyn trail. Bought here - yalta-excursions.ru I did not like the excursions to the zoo (it is terrible, the poor animals suffer in the heat, the cages are in average condition, it is clear that there is not enough money), and I did not like the excursion to Bakhchisarai. We were not only taken away late, but also ... Farther...
