I stayed at Villa Christina. It is indeed a very nice hotel, but it is not budget at all! Double room about 500 UAH. per day. No food or treatment.

I rest in Truskavets very often. Over the past year, we have come to the conclusion that we will stay with private owners. In Diamonds, Rubies, Crystals and other conditions have become unbearable. Despite the fact that we bought a ticket at our own expense (moreover, a two-room suite), we had to pay extra for everything. No procedure was scheduled. And the food has already deteriorated so much that there is nowhere else to go. We have already caught ourselves on the fact that we go every day to the market for provisions. The dining room offered imported frozen vegetables, chicken legs and curdled sour cream - and then if you have time. Every day at the table with the neighbors everyone discussed the disgusting conditions in these sanatoriums.
If you stay with private owners, you have the opportunity to independently choose all the necessary procedures (in the new medical center), eat for pleasure (near the central pump room there is a canteen with a buffet diet), drink water from the springs and enjoy the beautiful park of this amazing city. And all this will come out to you 2 times cheaper than in the "Stones".

If you are going to Truskavets for the first time, then it is better to choose a sanatorium for a non-private apartment. So it will be easier for you to deal with everything. Look at the Victor sanatorium, it is at the lower pump room. I liked it there very much.
