Hello, last year we took an excursion from a local travel agent (in Sozopol) for 40 leva for 1 day (in the cost of transport and a sightseeing tour). Cheaper, I think, unless on foot. Honestly, it's better to go to Istanbul for 2 days - the road to the Turkish border is terrible, sometimes you wonder if you will see Istanbul at all, and how lucky you are with the bus. We were not lucky :) due to the fact that Sozopol is the last point where tourists are planted. You should not have such a problem from Golden Sands.
And separately about a boat trip along the Bosphorus: if you have a map of the city (and you will), you should not buy this walk from a guide - just take a walk to the Bosphorus and there you can buy a ticket for a pleasure boat in the same way, only 3 times cheaper.

Thanks for answers! Tell me, is it possible by sea from Varna or Burgas to Istanbul? And how much does the trip cost and how long? And if by plane, how expensive is it? Thanks again!
аватар liya_gremory
I was looking for a sea route: people who know write that there is something, but there is no information about it. Secret information :)
The plane will be expensive, for sure. For this money you will be able to go from home to Istanbul for a weekend without interrupting your vacation in Bulgaria. It is not possible to find such a flight by airlines. If I find something, I'll write.

Thank you! We will already go and try to find out for ourselves about the sea route, then if I find out, I will unsubscribe! :))))

I would like to write to everyone!!!! Just arrived from Bulgaria - Bulgaria is wonderful! But Istanbul (we were driving from Bulgaria!) - it's just awful! That old, as they say, good Istanbul has turned into a cesspool of the market, where almost every young! young everyone is trying to deceive, throw, steal and even get nasty! They answer and understand in Russian, but when they put a bill or take money, they don’t understand anything and just behave arrogantly and boorishly! Yes! And about shopping, again - forget! Very expensive - everywhere, and the quality is very doubtful! In Varna, we did a wonderful shopping 2-3 times cheaper! In general, the impression of Istanbul (except for the Bosphorus and mosques!) The most unpleasant thing left!
аватар Anetka-gan
well, what did you expect? you were dragged to tourist places! )))) I have never been deceived, nasty, etc. during my visit to Istanbul. you're just out of luck.
Well, regarding shopping - you just need to know where to buy. did you take the tour from Bulgaria? Or did you go yourself?

The fact of the matter is that we ourselves went along the "trodden path" of friends who were there 5-7 years ago! It's just that what they and others told before and what is now are completely different things! that everyone knew that in Istanbul it was possible to eat seafood very inexpensively and tasty, only a myth remained! Everything is very expensive, except for fast food! Well, maybe we were not lucky, so the "paths" have changed a lot! you could drink fresh for 0.5 dollars! And now -2.5-3 lira, and this is almost 3 dollars! And this is the cheapest thing there is! And coffee, even the most nothing - 4 lira! So draw conclusions! to Euro

I have just returned from Istanbul. was there for a week.
I never got to the Grand Bazaar, although I lived in Taksim and after reading the reviews I found out that the Bazaar is 15 minutes. walk is located.
but on Taksim Square, behind the mosque, a huge street with cafes and shops begins. There are both local and popular brands. in Mango I bought half of the store - the prices are 2 times lower, the range is larger. I also bought clothes in Turkish stores - really funny money.
evenings spent on the embankment - kapets how expensive - Caesar salad 27 lira!!! I have never seen such prices even in expensive Kiev restaurants...
hands will reach - I will write a review)
but I agree 100% with Anetka-gan - you need to go to Istanbul on your own and at least 5 days.
Turkish Pegasus fly from Ukraine from Kharkov - 180 bucks in both directions. a modest hotel can also be found quickly

Sandra made me laugh))) Grand Bazaar (Grand Bazaar) from Taksim is 20-30 minutes away :))) not on foot :) you read something wrong :) you have to go to it from Taksim by two transports bus + tram.
By the way, Istiklal, the street where you are stingy is not very cheap, there is cheaper :)
Cafeteria food is expensive. I eat only local, away from the promenade-central streets-tourists. Cheaper, tastier, larger portions.
Pegasus is certainly cheap, but there is a minus - it flies to Sabina (the second airport), which is located in the Asian part. Getting from it is more difficult than from Atatryuk Havalymany.
according to clothes, she herself had just arrived from Antalya, they discovered a store for themselves - Collezione - the prices are generally a penny. the quality is excellent. bastard :)

Sandra, I don’t know in which city you have such expensive prices, but in Odessa it’s 2-3 times cheaper than in Istanbul stores! Maybe you were lucky with one Mango, but the fact that we went around 3 bazaars and didn’t find cheaper prices than in Odessa (the only exception is leather-
yes, yes, and even leather bags are already made fun of! - 3 times more expensive!) Cafes may be where they are cheap, but you have to try to find them! we have such prices for coffee in very expensive restaurants! And when we were there 7 years ago, it was really super for us! The prices are just class! Now I'll say it clearly
Istanbul is a very expensive city! And those who have been there before and now will understand me!
аватар sandra-art
Well, I didn’t get to the Istanbul Bazaar, but in stores the prices are cheaper in Mango and Topshop and Beneton, etc. There is now a season of discounts. and unlike Kiev stores, in Istanbul these are really discounts, when a thing from 52 lira began to cost 6.90 or from 82 - 9.90 - then these are discounts. and it's in the city center
аватар Anetka-gan
Finding cheap cafes is not difficult)) absolutely)))
compare 7 years ago of course you are cool! 7 years ago and in Ukraine the prices were different!
Sandra, we tried to stick around for brands that don't exist in Ukraine. I got tops for 5 lira :))
I repeat, not Istanbul is expensive, Turkey is expensive! everything goes from the father of gasoline.
аватар sandra-art
yes, I also wanted to buy a local one for myself and my brother and children of friends, but alas ...
аватар Anetka-gan
next time Sandra :) I bought some cheap hair stuff for teenagers. the Turkish company KOTON, by the way, is also nothing like that. different prices.
аватар sandra-art
