Holidays in early May

My husband and son (6.5 years old) are going to go to Egypt for the first time for the May holidays - at the beginning of May 2011. It's very scary to let them go! advise whether it is worth going in early May (how is the weather?) and will it really be interesting for the baby? How about nutrition? Who was in February? we want to go to the sea at the end of February for children - 4 + 2 years old, but I read that this is the coldest month, and there are only 2 heated pools in this hotel ... Who thinks - is there any point? We have never been to Egypt, and for the last 2 years we have been unlucky with the weather at sea (we go in jackets) .. I really want to warm up ...
