At the airport of Antalya, there is duty free both on arrival and departure))) both are good, but as for me, there is more choice on departure and each floor has its own, so as not to run all over the airport))) Farther...
Hello, I'm flying to Turkey, and indeed, for the first time. Please tell me who knows how much you can buy goods in Duty Free, so that they let you on the plane. I understand that it will have to be carried in hand luggage? How are hand luggage checked before boarding the plane and upon arrival, both in Boryspil and in Antalya? For example, if I buy several bottles of alcohol in Duty Free, this will be included in the allowed weight of hand luggage, i.e. 7 kg. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I don’t know how it is in Boryspil, but there shouldn’t be any problems due to several bottles (unless, of course, you are going to stock up there with a box). Alcohol purchased in a dutik is not subject to the liquid allowance, as well as the weight of hand luggage, i.e. you can safely take your legal kg (in general, no one weighs hand luggage) + packages from duty free. By quantity, you can 1 liter of strong and 2 liters of weak alcohol. Farther...
Hello, I had such a situation in Istanbul with alcohol ... In Donetsk, I bought 2 bottles of champagne in duty free, they put them not in a sealed bag, but just in a bag, and when I arrived in Istanbul, I was not allowed to take them with me, although I had a check..... I want to know in the future what to do in this situation and where the rules for transporting alcohol are described... Thank you!!

if you flew in transit through Istanbul, then they didn’t let you in correctly. if they went out into the city, then in Istanbul they really like to check luggage at the exit. I have not looked before. this year was 2 times and all 2 times asked to put on the scanner if you didn’t have any more alcohol besides champagne, you should have skipped it and they shouldn’t have cared where you bought it. it was logical to think that no one would allow you to take 2 bottles of champagne and carry them ... And God forbid you to buy something on sightseeing tours or in those stores where you are brought centrally. The guide has his own percentage and the prices there are crazy, especially for leather, souvenirs and jewelry. It’s easier and cheaper to get out to the nearest city and climb the shopping centers yourself. Farther...

And I don’t understand why spend precious vacation time buying all sorts of junk of dubious quality. The entire Turkish assortment of consumer goods is sold at our home both in the bazaar and in branded stores at a CHEAPER price than in the resort areas of Turkey, and during the seasonal sales period (leather, sheepskin coats, fur coats) you can buy all the same junk a little more expensive than Istanbul prices and fly and You don't have to carry your suitcases through customs. Here in China, tr ... Farther...
Good afternoon. I flew from Antalya and forgot to look at the non-cash payment in Duty Free Antalya. I'm flying from Moscow to Istanbul, I don't really want to carry cash. Accordingly, the question arose whether it is possible to pay with a bank card in Duty Free stores? The same question is of interest about Sheremetyevo Airport, since I fly out of it - is it also possible to pay with a card? Well, another question - for those who flew domestic flights in Turkey from Istanbul Ataturk Airport ... Is there Duty Free for domestic flights / the airport is divided into international. and internal or not? I was in transit from Antalya once, but I didn’t understand :)

You can pay by card without any problems. Ataturk Airport has both international and domestic terminals (transition between them through a special tunnel). There is no duty free in the domestic terminal. Upon arrival at the international terminal, at the exit, on the first floor there is a semblance of Duty free (as in Antalya) - the range and prices leave much to be desired. But the "dutik" in the international terminal is one of the largest that I have ever seen. Farther...
