My family and I rested in Thailand both in March, April, and in August, and in August - 4 times, three of them in Pattaya, once in Phuket. From my observations, I can say that in Pattaya the rainy season is a great time to relax. Yes, it is more humid, yes, it can rain (and not only at night), but all this is not a burden, there is a lot of sun anyway. Warm water. In Pattaya itself, of course, the sea is so-so, on the islands or on the military beach - clean and beautiful. No waves. But in Phuk ... Farther...
Tell me, please, if someone was vacationing in Pattaya in early October. Is it true that this is the rainiest month in this region? Do the rains interfere with rest or are they short-lived, how often do they go at all? If we want to not only go on excursions, but also swim and sunbathe, does it make sense to go at all or should we wait until November? Thanks for the help! :)

Hearing, but not resting. The hotel is said to be good. You know, I've been pecked here several times for my reviews of Pattaya, but I'd better repeat - the sea in Pattaya is dirty. The beach may be clean and well equipped, but the sea itself is muddy and full of rubbish. I also heard the opinion that there are places no worse than on the islands, however, with further communication it turned out that either people were not on the islands, but just think so, or they themselves sailed from Pattay ...
