My family and I rested in Thailand both in March, April, and in August, and in August - 4 times, three of them in Pattaya, once in Phuket. From my observations, I can say that in Pattaya the rainy season is a great time to relax. Yes, it is more humid, yes, it can rain (and not only at night), but all this is not a burden, there is a lot of sun anyway. Warm water. In Pattaya itself, of course, the sea is so-so, on the islands or on the military beach - clean and beautiful. No waves. But in Phuk ... Farther...

May is very hot and humid. The rainy season does not mean that it rains all the time. They are mostly short-term, but at the same time very strong, in a word, downpours. At the same time, it must be taken into account that the rainy season begins at different times in the resorts of Thailand. Somewhere it starts in May, and somewhere it does not end in October. In general, we all work here in the hydrometeorological center - I think Amir1 will be our director. I am surprised at the patience of a person to answer questions like: “What is the weather like at 16:32 on August 17? People, have a conscience. So much has already been written about the weather that asking is simply bad manners! Farther...
Tell me, please, if someone was vacationing in Pattaya in early October. Is it true that this is the rainiest month in this region? Do the rains interfere with rest or are they short-lived, how often do they go at all? If we want to not only go on excursions, but also swim and sunbathe, does it make sense to go at all or should we wait until November? Thanks for the help! :)

Hearing, but not resting. The hotel is said to be good. You know, I've been pecked here several times for my reviews of Pattaya, but I'd better repeat - the sea in Pattaya is dirty. The beach may be clean and well equipped, but the sea itself is muddy and full of rubbish. I also heard the opinion that there are places no worse than on the islands, however, with further communication it turned out that either people were not on the islands, but just think so, or they themselves sailed from Pattay ... it’s not even about the rain, but about the ebb. During the day the sea will leave and become shallow, and at night the tide will rise. And the rains there are very short and bring relief in the heat. In my opinion, Thai loses its charm due to the huge number of tourists from Moscow (and they know how to behave "properly" everywhere. So try not to be like them, wherever you are). Now it's not clear whether this is Thai or Crimea. And this is a real problem. Farther...
