Hello! In January, my daughter and I are flying to Delhi, we want to bring red caviar and fish for our Indian friends (by correspondence). Is it possible to do this without problems with customs and will it be a nice gift for them? Thanks.

You can carry everything. I carried sausage, lard, black bread, vodka and cognac, as well as a couple of canned food, ketchup. About the "zhlobstva" those who are not in the subject are indignant. Dubai has very high food prices. The same instant noodles will cost about $2-$3 per bag. Coffee, etc. is also overpriced, designed for rich foreigners. Another issue is quality. "Doshirak" in the UAE is eaten by Pakistanis and Indians, respectively, a European cannot eat "it" - there are a lot of ... Farther...
Hello. Interested only in the opinion of those who have experienced it for themselves! I'm flying to Warsaw. As Ukrainian gifts I bring smoked meats (in a reasonable amount!!...sausage and salmon), red caviar (2 cans of 125 grams each), chocolate (5 pcs of 100 g), sweets and condensed milk (2 cans) . In July of this year, I transported smoked meats, everything went fine. But recently I accidentally read on the Internet that such products have been banned for transportation since 2009, and the day before yesterday they reported on the news that it was “not allowed” ... It would just be a pity that they could be taken away in Poland upon arrival, since the products will not be bought cheap. Who recently transported something similar by plane, please respond ... I will be very grateful

Sometimes you have to not only eat, but also drink at the border. Anything is better than throwing away. Passed the control - and full, and drunk. Farther...

If it's not difficult, upon returning, write, please, about your experience, so that people are not afraid to carry items native to them across the border. The Internet is full of horrors, myths and other people's fears, from Visa issues to customs that need to be debunked! Farther...
For example, I do not like cheeses and sausages, which are usually served in treshka. Can I take a long loaf of smoked sausage with me in my luggage? The question is certainly stupid, but still :) I have reasons to ask it. And in general, what products can you take with you.

Come on, I’m 65 years old, and it’s not about pathos, I eat and treat people with good Ukrainian-made sweets, and what do you think, for my life, I don’t know what is good and what is bad. If it’s bad, I will never be a patriot, and I'll say it's bad. For reference, I travel to Europe and know their confectionery. It often turns out that it’s not a buzz! Farther...

NEVER TAKE LIQUID IN YOUR HAND Luggage! if you don't want her to stay with the good border guards forever... for the second year now, there have been rules for carrying liquids in hand luggage - so at first there was a limit of 0.5 then 0.33, and now everything is easily withdrawn ... so alcohol is ONLY IN THE BAGGAGE - wrap the bottles with sweaters (why take a towel with you to Turkey - except perhaps a personal one for your face) and hope for the best ... in hand luggage you can carry, on ...
