The thought flashed through to buy flowers during a trip to Europe in May. In past years, the markets had very cool flowers at very cool prices. Basically, these are markets in the squares of cities. The question is, is it allowed to import cultivated plants into Ukraine if there are documents on their legal acquisition? Flowers such as geranium, petunia, well, that is, there is not even a doubt that this is not something wild, rare, forbidden. What document is needed to confirm the purchase? Has anyone encountered such things at the border? Who is "torbiting" about this - the EU because of export or ours because of import? My departure will be through Poland or Hungary. Thank you!

Everything is possible. Don't dig the ground just hard. Orchids were taken out by themselves a dozen times. The wife loves them very much. And from the markets and just like that - torn off shoots. Edible pasiflora (aka passion fruit), different types of ferns, lianas, flowers.... Don't listen to "horror stories " about the prison, just don't advertise and don't collect a lot of land... Buy a cup of coconut flakes. Or just wrap it in a damp cloth. Everything else rolls easily. No one is interest ... Farther...

You can't take it on a plane. I found out about it at the airport. I put the big 2 in my bag. shifted clothes. and I thought to carry two small ones in hand luggage. and since it’s impossible, and there was absolutely no place to put it ..... I took an ordinary plastic bag, said goodbye to hookahs and checked it in my luggage :)))))) what was my surprise when they were safely in this bag and drove onto the tape after landing without a single scratch!!!! :))))) miracle. not less)))) Farther...

I don't understand something: Import of products of animal origin Such products cannot be imported without veterinary control. However, a veterinary certificate is not required for: • products that are part of personal luggage during the trip; •baby food and products used for medical reasons; • food for pets weighing up to 1 kg. All imported products must be declared and packaged in undamaged containers. Note: Without a certificate, you cannot import meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, eggs, lard, etc.

Depending on whether the border is air or land. A phytosanitary certificate is required, regardless of the quantity or whether an individual or legal entity imports. There is a list of prohibited plants for import into the EU. In either case, the certificate will clearly identify the plant and will authorize importation. Otherwise, it will simply not be issued. How much the certificate costs, the place and procedure for obtaining it, etc., I do not know. I tried to figure out this question - ... Farther...
