Please tell me where is the best place to buy tea in Sri Lanka? Upon arrival in the country, I immediately go on a three-day excursion, and then to a beach hotel. The tour involves visiting tea plantations. It will be cheaper to buy tea there or buy it in Koggala or Galle. Interested not only in price, but also in the quality of tea. Thank you all in advance for your replies.

For example, where to buy Mlesna in Wadduwa? or whatever is better. We have 3 days of excursions (botanical garden, elephant nursery, Sigiriya, spice garden) and then 5 days in the hotel. The tour does not include a tea plantation, and after these 3 days you do not want to go anywhere else.

With tea, as well as with souvenirs, the situation is as follows: tuk-tukers or guides will stop you near shops where they then have a rollback from sales, so tea turns out to be somewhat more expensive. For example: we wanted to buy tea packed in a coconut in the form of an elephant, where it was offered to us the price was 1800 rupees, and then we found and bought it ourselves for 850 rupees!!! One to one! The place is in Kalutara - on the second floor of the "blue-colored" cafe, the name is a ... Farther...
My first time in Sri Lanka. What exotic fruits would you recommend to bring as a gift to your relatives? What else can you see from spices. Where is it better to buy: in the bazaars (are they there?) or in stores? If you are short of money, then which tours to buy and where on the street or in a hotel?

I do not advise you to take precious stones away: the quality of cutting is low. The jewelry did not impress me with its design, high quality, or attractive price... Therefore, I didn’t buy anything like this for myself and I don’t advise you at all, seriously. It is better to buy high-quality clothes made from natural fabrics. Therefore, I advise you to get into the shops of the city of Colombo: "House of fashions" (there is good quality, and especially low prices - because they go mostly loca ... Farther...

ilanit93 stayed in Rhodes at the RODOS PALLADIUM LEISURE hotel, the concept of food was FB exactly the same as Rodos Palace, in the room a bar with drinks including drinking water was paid - this is the concept of the hotel just like yours. About paid or free services at the hotel, you should have been told by a representative of the tour operator or at the reception desk when checking into the room. In Turkey and as in other countries, even if All or Ultra All, there may also be tea, coffee an ... Farther...

Great rum in India!! Here it definitely needs to be taken out and tea. At the expense of shells, we calmly took them out (for the aquarium and the youngest for games) like there are no bans (such as in Thailand strictly and without discussion). But it's possible to ask the meeting u a question just in case. Farther...

She bought gold bracelets for me and my daughter, we sell silver for that kind of money. I didn’t risk buying phones, I heard that a woman was detained at customs because of iPhones. And of course, what is a trip to the UAE without buying a fur coat, at the hotel when I asked, Where can I see fur coats? I was immediately told the Planet of the fur, of course I looked at other shopping centers, but still settled on the Planet of the fur. They have a varied choice, and there are sizes, and not onl ... Hello! I would like to know about tips, as we are going to Turkey with my husband for the first time. Is it necessary to give money? - upon check-in, so that there is a normal room (in the reviews, many write that they did not give it and everything was OK); - for daily cleaning of the room (acquaintances left every day, but someone's hair and a cigarette butt near the bed lay until the end of the holiday); - bartenders, waiters, minibus drivers, etc. In general, to WHOM and HOW MUCH to tip, so as not to spoil your vacation? Thank you all in advance!

We were in Turkey last year. At first, they didn’t know what to give to whom. Now I can advise you: - upon check-in, it is desirable to give 10 c.u. - the number will be much better than the one that you will be offered initially. Still, don’t say anything, but it’s more pleasant to wake up in a room overlooking not a Turkish trash can, but a beach or a pool; -we did not leave for cleaning, although sometimes you can 1 c.u. leave, they will make you a flower or a swan out of towels; - bartend ...
